Thank you, Dr. Barazon! This video has been made not only for your class, but also for everyone interested in writing papers in IMRAD format. It is a fascinating idea to turn your lectures into RUclips videos so we can have a reference that we can review whenever we need clarification. This lecture is much more comprehensive and understandable even for beginners in the IMRAD format.

The discussion is quite insightful. It answered many of my questions about IMRAD that I chose to keep to myself. Though I already have knowledge about writing a research paper in IMRAD format, my experience and perceived competence in writing one is something that I still need to work out. However, after watching the video, I am hopeful that I will be able to write one with the knowledge I acquired from the discussion of Doc Levi.

From the video i see that, the format separates different aspects of your research, allowing you to focus on each aspect individually. This separation prevents you from mixing details of methods with interpretations of results, ensuring a clear distinction between different stages of your research.

Using the IMRAD format for my dissertation is advantageous since it offers a simple and organized framework for presenting my study. It improves communication and readability, conforms to academic standards, concentrates my writing and rewriting, and gets my work ready for prospective academic journal publication. IMRAD makes moving from a lengthy dissertation to a succinct, article-style structure easier, facilitating a more efficient and significant research process.
