Seen here are some of the most intense and high speed emergency response clips I have captured in Vancouver over the last few months. Featured are the Vancouver Police Department (VPD), Vancouver Fire & Rescue Services (VF&RS) as well as the BC Ambulance Service (BCAS), responding all over the city with everything their sirens have to offer! I love Rescue Engine 4! Nice catch of the Charger on hi lo.
Some of the Ambulances have the same horn and siren as the private Ambulances I filmed in Chicago. It's an eerie horn!

Rescue Engine 4 happens to be one of my favorites, which might be because I live near the station where it’s based... 😝
Interesting, you don’t hear the Carson siren too often. It is actually a very good quality and effective siren if you ask me, the horn and manual are amazing. Here in Vancouver though I’m starting to get a bit sick of it as I hear it all day long... 😅😂

Haha right, BCAS is particularly good at mixing up the siren tones! But I also chose only the best clips for this compilation, there are plenty of times when they stick to wail and yelp only. It is usually in heavier traffic or passing busy intersections that they will really play with the siren. Makes sense, for safety.

Nope, no scanner. Getting videos here is all about luck, timing, knowledge of the right ‘spots’ and a lot of patience!
