Just found your channel. Love your videos. You guys are so fun. What camera do you use or is it iPhone?
Thanks for being here! I just use my old iPhone 11 Pro Max. ❤️
Spectacular views! How long did it take you to drive down into the canyon?
Not long at all! I’d say less than 10 minutes. It was such a fun drive!
Thanks for the video. It seems a bit scary to drive!
How long does it take to complete this full drive for going and coming?
It is a bit scary, however we felt very safe. The speed limit is slow. I’d say it only took around 5 minutes to get to the bottom. Not long at all. Totally worth it! ❤️
Wow! As long as I don't have to drive the Million Dollar Highway (or similar) to get there! Heck, after watching I see it won't be a drive I'll be making. I have a fear of heights on cliffy roads.😢
Bummer! It’s such a gorgeous drive and it’s awesome to be at the bottom of the canyon. It is a very slow speed to get down there, but I understand if you didn’t want to try it. There are many people who don’t like roads next to cliffs. I used to be like that, but somehow got more courageous as I aged! Haha! Thanks for watching our video! ❤️
Great video, thanks for posting! Did you mean Hywy 145 from Dolores? Thanks
Thanks so much for watching! No, we took CO-141 as an alternate route from Dolores and it was AMAZING!! We couldn’t believe the incredible views and barely saw another car on the highway. We definitely recommend checking out that route! We drove 145 many times from Dolores to Telluride and that is also a gorgeous view too, but 141 was just so different. We were so glad to see it. Thanks again for watching and commenting!
@@RoamInYourHome Awesome will check it out. Keep on being wild!
@RoamInYourHome Did you start Orchard Mesa then down to Naturita then to 145 Eastward? Looking for a 141 that goes into Black Rock or into Montrose -- thanks!
Let me check on the exact route we took and get back to you. Would love for you to take that route and see all the beauty we saw!
Awesome thanks! I found another CO 121 from near Dove Creek to 145 to near Naturita then 145 to 62 to 550 to Montrose -- that might be the route?? It's not marked as scenic on map but clearly is.
