That was amazing, I'm thinking, it is some sort of faulty flip flop gate in the electronics and a chip change. And it turns out to be an incorrect crankshaft part put into the engine. I wonder how this got past initial testing when the mechanic replaced the crankshaft. Cleaver chaps both of you; Igor is observant but it sometimes takes two chaps bouncing ideas off each other to work it all out.

Thanks Keith. Igor had it from another garage. I believe it came from an auction so we never new who fitted the wrong cam.
agh Auctions are sometimes places where folks try to get rid of problems they cant solve; and a good place to get a bargin if you have skills.
