@@OneAuto Your very welcome Rob, My Daughter got it on Amazon for Me for Christmas, so will have to wait until then, Thank You Rob and Merry Christmas to You and Yours 👍🙏🎄🍻
I've got a Sealy bt105 that does similar. A good bit of kit but don't always believe the replace battery status. Ive got a couple of known good Varta silver batteries but input the CCA on a fully charged battery it says replace but I know they are good. I think battery manufacturers over state the cca. If I use the quick test function and input the reserve capacity amps instead of the stated CCA it reports good battery.
Great stuff Rob, a very handy tool, often meant to get one, but very expensive, that is a very reasonable price, must leave some not so subtle hints to other half, Thank You Rob:):)
Always wonder what is the practical use for this device? If the car wont start in the morning does it count as a natural test? And if it's old enaugh and charging ok its need to be replaced? Taking parasitic draw is normal.🤔
A good example for using a battery tester like this is a car where the Stop/Start system has stopped working… the most common cause is a weakening battery. The Battery module constantly monitors the battery health. When it drops too low it disables the stop/start feature…. The driver has no idea as the battery still starts the car for many months into the future.
I test batteries as a matter of course when servicing cars. You get to see the health condition of the battery and forewarn the owners of its condition.
Great to see you back hope you get more time to do more video 🙏 here a great Christmas 🎄
Thanks Anto, Same to you
