When they said lift the body they meant to jack up on the frame and let the axle hang to get clearance between the body and the axle so the pipe will slip between them.
Great video I’m assuming the same tailpipe would fit for a 2024 2500 HD Chevy midnight edition gas burner also I’m assuming it did not mess with any of the O2 sensors by any chance did it improve the gas mileage due to the no restrictions that the factory exhaust has could you put a link in the description for that exhaust?
It's the same for the Chev 2500. It has no performance or mileage impact, just the sound. Also no impact to sensors. www.gmpartswarehouse.com/oem-parts/gm-6-6l-gas-cat-back-exhaust-upgrade-system-with-19420408
I have the 2024 GMC 2500 HD with 6.6 gas also. Have you considered installing one of the oil catch cans? J&L makes a kit for these and as I understand there good for direct injection engines. Your thoughts...
How is the sound in the cab now that you've had it on a while? Is it much louder than stock inside? I had a somewhat tame exhaust on my old Tundra that sounded great around town, but when towing it got a bit obnoxious under load. I'm debating the same with my L8T AT4 but don't want to run into the same issue.
What bilsteins did you use for the front of your 2024 2500. I called bilstein yesterday as they say there front shocks you must have a 1.5 inch lift for them to work.
I noticed your comment on putting bilsteins on your truck but had not had a chance to reply to a question asked as per if these were the 5100 series as I've seen that as well with the comment that the ones they supply for the front are meant to go with a leveling kit persay. If you happen to know what part number you did install or if there was no truth to them not working for a non lifted truck ?
correct assumption in the descprition....would love to see more truck content
At first I thought the boating/fishing crowd would say my channel had too many topics. Maybe I rename it to 'shit that guys like' - lol

I was lifting the frame on a 2 post lift. Off camera I tried getting it out in one piece. It's just not worth it.

Great job, what kind of axle shaft is that, aftermarket or stock
@@fj404 its stock. Plenty strong for my use.

I haven't yet, but it's hard to argue with what I see. It can't be good to burn that oil mist.
we could not get a throttle blip to see how it sounds?
I'll do you one better. GM Borla sound clips for GM 6.6 L8T Gas

It's very mild. You barely notice it over the radio. I've had a few people ask for a sound video, I was going to do one in a couple of weeks.

Do you drive on a lot of chopped up roads?

Is this the Borla Attack exhaust?
No, it's their least aggressive one, but the install is the same.
Is it the s-line or touring borla? I want the atak borla but I don't think it fits or throws codes is what I heard..
How much was the exhaust?
I had gm points after buying the truck so it was 1200? Not sure what msrp was.
Msrp is $1949.00
What's the model # please?
Did you order this directly from GM's website?
GM Part 19420408
not even one rev, not one teeny weeny blip of throttle.
