- Even if you can’t paint very well, you still can try to make a simple landscape painting. Check what story you want to tell and change it to fit. I share artwork of the Dutch artist Tjibbe Hooghiemstra as an example.

Someone said to me once, there is not a single wood in the whole Frisian Woods
But there are still plenty of trees to hide behind.
What goes on behind those trees?
None of yours.
You just stay out of it.
No matter what people say, we do it our way
We talk about ordinary things.
We talk about things everyone can understand.
We don’t talk about that other stuff.
Why should we?
Who I am?
What do you want to know for that?
What’s that got to do with anything?
We get just by fine.
It suits us down to the ground.
We have fun.
We have side-splitting fun.
We laugh our dicks right out or our pants.
Everyone can just stay out of it.
If we don’t like your mug, we keep it to ourselves.
What I think?
What do you want to know that for?
What difference does it make?
I’ll cut you so your guts poor out over the floor.
What’s that you say? Everyone knew about it, but nobody saw a thing?
Were they supposed too?
We laugh our dicks out of our pants.
Keep it quit.
That’s out motto.
That’s about it.
Materials
The art materials I use in the videos are not sponsored.
I prefer to work on multi-purpose paper, more info in this video: • How to choose the RIGH...
In almost all my videos I use with Winsor&Newton Galeria acrylics, if not, I will say so in the video.
Other materials I use are in random order: 5, 10 and 40mm brushes, palette knives, acrylics medium, Ecoline liquid watercolor, Lyra color pencils, Lyra soft pastels, oil pastels, Stabilo color pencils, paper palette pad and basic masking tape. I also use household items like a permanent marker, scrub sponge, scissors, paper towel, and so on.

I wasn't familiar with the artist, Hooghiemstra, but enjoyed his art, and you video. The art you made came out well, and pretty close to what he was trying to say. I love the countryside cycling. Looks really beautiful and green over there. Here it's more hilly and a struggle to cycle for me. I used to do it all the time however, when I lived out west.

Damn! Was watching you playing around with that plastic bag (?) and using paper to absorb the paint off another papersheet, saw the results and thought to myself: "using real life tools and natural media to paint seems very fun", and it ends up in unique effects as a result. I mainly do art digitally with mobile or computer software, and even though some brushes manage to simulate natural media (Rebelle and Artrage are amazing at this), it is not the real thing. As soon as I find a job, I will buy myself some cheap tools and recycle materials to play around with.
