Today we’re checking out the newest pedal in the Silktone lineup, the Overdrive+. It’s a highly versatile overdrive that can be used to cover a pretty wide range of tones. It’s just as comfortable being a lightly overdriven tone enhancer, as it is delivering massive fuzzy textures. With the addition of the secondary dirty boost, there’s no shortage of ways to run this in your rig.
The OD+ is designed using a combination of JFETs, Op-Amps, and diodes. It features Volume, Tone, & Gain controls which function as expected. It also features a bass cut and a switch to toggle between symmetrical and asymmetrical clipping. These are great for fine tuning your sound and where you want the guitar to sit in a mix.
The second footswitch engages a dirty boost (with two modes) that adds more gain and harmonic distortion. In Raw mode it’s a full range boost, and in the Strangle mode it also ads a resonant filter that adds an almost cocked wah effect. I love this tone for lead work like you hear on this track.

Thanks! It’s definitely a killer drive. And haha yea I’m usually pushing the amp pretty good in most drive demos. It’s 15 watts and I’ve always got it set just on the edge of breakup
