Great vid! If you are doing it more manually, going from an RSS on wordpress to another RSS on wordpress, should you have all of your old episodes at the new link? Or will that cause all episodes to appear twice?
Hey Matt, I’m not very familiar with the process on Wordpress, but if you’re just changing the URL and the XML data is the same, there shouldn’t be any duplication. Just update the RSS URL in each podcast directory manually.
Brother, I'm in dyer need of help. This process was seamless for apple podcasts and amazon podcasts. Google podcasts and SPotify are both giving me the same error message when I submit the new RSS feed, "his feed is missing an email address". I don't know what to do and I need to finish putting the new rss feed in Spotify and google podcast to complete the process. Can you please help?
Buzzsprout has an option to hide your email in the RSS feed to reduce spam. In your Buzzsprout account, go to the podcast settings and check the box that makes your email visible for 24 hours. Then you can submit and verify on Spotify
I am currently with Spotify and thinking about switching to buzz sprout and I’m absolutely terrified. You made it seem seamless, but I’m still very scared. Is there a video option for buzz sprout?
There’s not, so if video is important to you, staying on Spotify may make it easier. I choose to upload the video version of my shows directly to RUclips
