One of the worlds great unrecognised bands and a classic song. Saw them twice - outstanding each time. However this video was out of context and did not do the song justice. It is a traditional Irish song not one of their futuristic/comic book songs.
The whole video is average mid 2000s graduate level ‘animation,’ misspelling and lyric mistakes. What a mess and an embarrassment to the legacy of the great Thin Lizzy and their version of this tune. Their releases were usually accompanied by great artwork, just look up Jim Fitzpatrick’s work for TL, and then consider all that artwork that could have been an inspiration for a music video in 2024, the artist is still alive and could have been consulted but no … let’s hire a social media content creator company / advertisers to create a music video for one of the most influential heavy rock / metal bands of all time. How little they understand or care is etched all across the low effort filters and static ‘animations.’
