Good to know!! I have a small subsided section from a $%*@!ng squirrel burrow under the edge of our patio, and it isn't big, but then, no one experienced wants to touch it, and I guess I need to tackle it myself, when the weather's cooler. It's one of those, "I probably can do this, but I know there's so much I don't know until I try to repair it." things that I'm tired of avoiding.😕 At least, it's the edge, and there's an aluminum border constraining the blocks, so I have something to hold the pavers in place after.
Awesome video, A lot of great info! Was wondering what you charge about per sqft for something like that trying to come up with estimates for similar jobs.
very good video ! its nice to see the problems we can have in that kind of projets
Thank you for watching and commenting Nicolas!
Very well detailed and explained!
Thank you!
What a great job, very interesting! 👏
Thank you!

Curious what you'd charge for that job... I have a similar request and don't want to get myself in "not enough money" trouble....
I do not give out exact numbers of projects that I have done for clients, but for lift and re-lays we are around $10 per square foot.
Does this include the polymeric sand ? And once you’re done you are going to compact the driveway ?
Yes, this would be just picking up the pavers and putting them back down plus poly. Compacting the fixed area after poly is swept in.
Doing paver patio. For first time. Is it ok if the pattern gets a little off? Like the lines not matching up for whatevercreason
I would fix them. That wouldn’t look good when you get to the end of the project
Can’t stand block paving!!🤮
🥲
With this pattern? What pattern, you put down a bunch of 10x10 square. Lmao
😂😂 they are more like 13x13s. But the pattern was those with a band of pavers running in a checkerboard pattern.
