I played this song on repeat when it first came out. It came out around the time I got sober, and I couldn't stop listening to it. Didn't know why. Then I finally read the lyrics and cried. It describes addiction is such a visceral way, and I had just admitted myself that I had a problem as well. Anywho, glad ya checked it out. Cheers
In Between, The Lines, Body Bag, Me In My Own Head, Keep Your American Dream, and Beaten in Lips More Beartooth.. all these are on the same album.. an absolute hardcore punk and metalcore vibes to it
Love me some Beartooth. If you get a chance, you should listen to anything off the album Kingdoms by Broadway and anything off You Can't Spell Slaughter Without Laughter by I Set My Friends On Fire. I know a lot of viewers will get a nostalgia trip off of those from over 10 years ago.
This song might seem to be about dealing with addiction to alcohol, but the song is actually about the struggles Caleb Shomo (vocalist) had struggles with the band he was in previous Attack Attack!, btw Caleb Shomo was the keyboardist and leas vocalist of Attack Attack!
@@CrabCoreKing I feel like it might be about both, I don't want to start a youtube argument thread, so I agree it's about what you said and what I said.
@@CrabCoreKing Here a part of an article on this song about the meaning of the song, it mentions something Caleb said in an interview. "Additionally, Caleb delves into the actual meaning behind Beartooth’s “I Have A Problem,” which has ultimately been misconstrued by many listeners. “The song is about me quitting Attack Attack!. Obviously, everybody thinks it’s about, like, alcoholics anonymous or something. Who wouldn’t?” He goes on to talk about how it was the second Beartooth song he ever wrote, and he did so the day before he quit Attack Attack!." This is where I got what I said about what the song is about, so that's why I said it
@@CrabCoreKing Trust me Caleb didn't have any alcohol issues before beartooth, due to the fact he still was under the age of when you were allowed to drink when he was in Attack Attack!
The lead singer Caleb wasn't happy with the direction of his previous band Attack Attack..he was in a bad place and turned to alcohol/other vices to cope. That's what the songs about. You kinda had the right idea at the beginning about being forced to play the music. Caleb wasn't happy and this is a representation of those feelings.
I think the people in the black suits are supposed to represent the record label and how they just herd them around, completely ignoring the physical and psychological strain of what they're going through as individual human beings haha 🤷♂️
Please react to hell above by Peirce The veil. I keep seeing it in the end cards when u finish songs lol. I asked a while ago. Also could you listen to paper thin by dangerkids
