Question the way you show these character classes the characters seem exaggerated and cartoony.
if the goal is more to do a "realistic" character portrayal ala what you see in artist such as Jim Lee, Mœbius or Juan Giménez (he illustrated the metabarons) would such a class still be good if so why?.

I haven’t read the books (yet) and I obviously haven’t exactly been casually conversing with the director, so I’m just speculating here, but I wonder if the choice of hairstyle (or drastic lack thereof) for the Harkonenns in the films was chosen to create a more emphasised division between them and the Attreides, especially Paul, because he (or at least Timothee Chalamet) has dark curly hair and quite a round face shape. Obviously there’s also the connection with toxicity of both environment and ethos, but visually - especially during the duel at the end of Part II - there is a very stark juxtaposition of aesthetics: everything about the Harkonenns is white with black accents, everything about Paul and Arrakis is earth toned with blue accents. I guess I’m just a sucker for the use of colour palettes in conveying ideas and symbolism 😋

I saw a picture on an art site where the artist was complaining that so many films go for dark grey/ black for all of the uniforms and the like in the various Dune adaptations, and they wanted to show them in more flamboyant colours that would fit better with the "noble houses" themes. Amusingly (doubly so since they didn't seem to do it this way), in a twist on the normal schemes, the Harkonens wear blue (specifically, Sardaukar in Harkonen livery are described as being in blue), while the Atreides wear green and black (or so their banner is described). So book-accurate uniforms/ livery/ etc might be an interesting video to follow with.

I LOVE that you did Leto II. He’s one of the most interesting characters in the entire series. I’m a little sad that the movies might not get to him. But glad there are artists like you that can fully realize what they may look like.

He looks just like a Average American with a SciFi float belt instead of a Scooter.
Honestly, the 2000s series did it better. The actor was an actual very fat man and they made him extremely evil and disgusting.

They got him pretty spot on in the new adaptation.
He is described as weighing 200 Kilos (441 Ibs) which is how he looks in the films.
Other than the weight though he. Isn't supposed to look “disgusting” that was something Lynch added.

I had read the books, years ago, and both your early Leto concept and the final god-emperor form were closest to what I had envisioned then.
With Feyd-Rautha I think you got very close. I find the figure in the painting titled "Bacchus", by Caravaggio, closely resembles the book's own description. But, with a more sinister look.
Chani, I had forgotten entirely that she was supposed to have more elongated, elven features, with long red hair. Neither actresses that played her in the films resembled her description. But, that's due to the individual visions and choices of the directors.
