    Hello. Is Laravel a correct tool to develop projects like Amazon, Airbnb, Alibaba? All these platforms are used by millions of people at the same time and have a lot of information inside. Is there a better tool for this type of massive project? Bye.

      You can build enterprise applications at that scale with Laravel. Once you reach that kind of traffic, your performance will be way be dependent on your hosting architecture though.

    You can also deploy your Vagrant box with Laravel by one command using Ansible local provisioning: github.com/msztorc/laravel-starter

    8 minutes long video about downloading 2 files from the internet. I think this might finally be the tutorial that will go at my pace and I will get it this time.

      😂 Well yea, I suppose it could be done in 4 minutes or less but I like to move at a comfortable pace and explain the "why" behind doing what we're doing.

    Hi, during my installation with "vagrant box add laravel/homestead", installation works fine for like 40%+, but then the download rate falls to 0k/s and terminates with *OpenSSL SSL_read: SSL_ERROR_SYSCALL, errno 10054*
    Can anybody help with this?

    • @QuentinWatt
      @QuentinWatt  5 лет назад

      If you're on a Mac I highly recommend using Laravel valet instead. It will make environment set up way easier.
      This stack overflow answer may help.

      I'm planning on going further with this, but I'm also going to put some content like that behind a $10.00 subscription. :)
      I do think that's a fair trade in exchange for the amount of work that goes in to planning, recording and editing these videos and I hope you'll support me. :)

    • @QuentinWatt

      If it's in the virtual box, then you need to set up your hosts file. There's a tutorial on that in the same video playlist as this one.

      If you’re using a Mac, then Valet is much simpler and faster to set up. ☺️
