    Their duality is no joke. They can be serious and they can be fun! Loved seeing the full Aya choreo from beginning to end! Thanks for your reaction!

    Man, Mamamoo must be the only group i love about as much as Dreamcatcher, they are just amazing. And i wanted to say that if you like/love mamamoo, you should definitely watch the "guide" Introducing Mamamoo part 1 and 2 from Purple Hawke, not necessarily react to it on your chanel, but just watch it on your free time when possible. You'll get to see and know stuff about them which will make you love them 100 times more

      I definitely have it on my radar. Haven’t looked at it yet though but I plan too. I wanted to save it for a reaction

    😂 Aya was one of the serious dance practices. Also, they're so much fun as always. If you watch performances of Aya and Dingga on the award shows. You would like it.

      I love their duality! They can be serious or playful and still eat it up

    What I find so amazing is the ease that Mamamoo perform their dance routines. Not only can they have a great time and lark about but even, in this case Aya, they perform all the moves in the right place and time, without any sense of effort.

    Nice pairing. In these dance practices we see the duality of serious artists vs goofballs having fun but imo the magic of Mamamoo is in the duality of bff team chemistry & individuality. Even while doing the same move in perfect unison each member expresses her own personality and since they're each captivating in different ways you don't know who to watch. Their dancing is like their vocals - each has a totally different timbre but when they harmonize they blend seamlessly and when you put the whole package together on stage it's mesmerizing. I don't know whether it's that they have a different performance philosophy than other groups or that they've achieved a perfect balance between group dynamics and personal expression while fearlessly & playfully dancing on the knife edge of unity on one side vs chaos on the other. The end result is a style that's uniquely Mamamoo, which seems to be described either as MMM being a genre unto themselves or as Mamamoo doing Mamamoo depending on whether someone wants to celebrate their rare unicorn-like existence or put them in a cage and dismiss them as freaks.

    The subtitles were from an important figure in Mamamoo lore, the incredible MMMTV-unnie. MMMTV-unnie documented Mamamoo for most of their career and in 2021 she left the company. I'm 99% sure that Mamamoo has hired her on a per diem basis, which leaves her free to pursue other projects, for their most important videos though.

    I have a theory about why AYA is so serious. In a behind the scenes video where Lia Kim presented the choreo they all expressed doubts about being able to do that and still sing. They didn't have any leeway and had to focus everything to make it work.

    when you Whee-in you can't Way out .i can see only her she hypnotize me . don't think than " duality " is the right word for them because they're on stage exactly the same than outside . they're impredictible , crackhead and little bit crazy. BLACKPINK as a big duality they're not the same on stage than outside , DC as some duality to . MAMAMOO girls are just natural , no filter .

    i think WHEE-IN is a weakness for me .you know how female korean Aegyo( acting cute) are lethal . and Whee-in and Sejeong are the best to do that WHee-in is usualy very shy whith people she don't know and crazy with people she know and love and her way to talk or act with a baby voice kill me everytime .

    • @infinitelocke

      Wheein is definitely my bias slightly at the moment I would say

  • @kalaksed
    @kalaksed 2 года назад +1

    Ah yeah, "aya" and "egotistic" dance practices are the only two where they're serious throughout, which throws the fandom off when they first watch them, wondering what's wrong. (Which is pretty funny considering many other fandoms would wonder what's wrong with their idols if they were filmed goofing around in their dance practices. Agencies seriously need to loosen up on that whole 'only show perfection' thing)
    As for where to watch, many moos, even those with a certified bias, watch these videos at least 5 times, if not more...one for overall, one to focus on each member because they're always doing something weird somewhere, then maybe again to take it all in at once again
