I’ve lost fish stepping back lmao I don’t blame him. Had some lady tell me to step back 3 times during pink season, lost 2 fish and on the 3rd time I held my ground, buddy landed it.
That is awesome you got it. Congratulations. 3rd time is the charm. I believe a lot of times it depends on who is working the net whether you catch or not. In this instance I made the decision to pull the king in the net as he was unable to bring it closer. I did not want him to lose it so that is why I did it. I'm glad he was able to get his fish. For a lot of us landing a fish you have been trying for all day is very important.
I’m thinking of going out to dash point in a few days and was wondering if you know what lures they were using for these kings. If you could tell me that would be great.
Most often with success is the white dart with red eyes. I believe in 2 and 1/4 ounce point Wilson is typical. You can also try white with chartreuse back. These are what I have seen to be most fruitful man. My nephew caught himself a king on my pink jigs as well. They will go for a lot of variations. The first two I mentioned seem to be best. Let me know how you do out there man and good luck.
I LOVE TO GO FISHING SO FUN FUN KEEP ON FISHING NEVER STOP FISHING SO FUN FUN 🎣🐟😀
