We've legit been learning this for 3 weeks in class and this 7 minute video made me understand it way better than any of that. Just goes to show it's quality over quantity (quality teaching over quantity of time). You just earned a subscriber. Thanks for saving my chem grade man!
In 3 weeks I will take my GED exam I really really really have a hard time understanding moles!!! You have made my life easier and I will continue watching you and will keep you updated to see if I aced it!!!!!!!
literally same thing here except have learnt shit all in chemistry on online classes, the teacher thinks we understand everything on point because we are triple science students, catching up with everything 2 days before the topic test wooooooooo
My niece just called me and asked if I could tutor her on the concept of Mole. I found and sent her this video. She viewed it and text me back, "OMG, this so simplified the concept. I get it now. My teacher really complicated the concept!" THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO!!! ❤
thank you so much mate, i've been struggling with these conversion rates for a while now and thanks to you i finally get it! my teacher just automatically assumes that we did chem last year and know all the basics, but i just started this year and he won't explain anything. you saved me
it never ceases to amaze me how one nice guy can explain a complicated subject perfectly enough to help me understand it 1000x better in 7 minutes than my teacher could for a few weeks. You love to see if folks, hope you're all doing well!
Dude, you SAVED ME. I really don't usually comment on videos, but during this pandemic, with online classes I really can't undertand a thing and your video was super easy to understand! . You saved me a crying session and two hours trying to understand the book's examples. A true hero.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MAKING THIS!!! I literally have a chemistry test tomorrow about this and I had no clue how to convert, but after watching this I completely understand now.
After 20 years, I was just joking with my partner, about how hard I found converting moles, in general chemistry was. In about seven minutes, I know now! Thank you for making it easy! My professors were never easy in their explanations. I felt deflated after almost every class. My only suggestion would be to have a “why does this even matter “examples at the end. Something like, “if Tesla wanted to use a certain number of moles of lithium in one battery, this is how they would figure it out.“ A great video for you to make would be something like, “how to break barriers in chemistry“ That would give students confidence in real world scenarios. If I was a chemist, and some visionary asked me to make something right after I graduated, I know I would look at him or her like a deer in headlights! Another great video for you to make would be something like “breaking barriers in chemistry “ , giving a simple blueprint that would install confidence for new graduates to push the boundaries instead of just doing ordinary modifications of chemistry that make little or no progress in the world like just another steroid drug that has one or two different molecules in order to get a different patent 🤦♂️
Omg ty I’m cramming this whole unit into one night of studying cause we got a sub who isn’t exactly good at teaching. Tbf, I gave up trying to listen to him so I learn on my own but this time I didn’t have time to study. Thankfully this section is easy
Thanks for this video! I hope it saves my chemistry grade for tomorrow’s test! It sucks because we are doing seven different ways all on one test! It includes stuff about STP, empirical formulas, percent composition, molecular formulas, ugh, half the time I don’t even know where to write the numbers at but I think you explained it sooo well! Thanks for the help!
"If this video helped you at all, please give me a thumbs-up, it means a lot to me." You know what means a lot to me? You taking the time to BREAK IT DOWN in a methodical and focused manner to help me get a handle on things. Keep on
Thank you so much!! My chemistry teacher is new to teaching, and he over explained this and I got really confused, and so did most of my class. Everyone was asking each other, "Do you get this?" and people we always say no, including me. My friend told my teacher she had no idea how to do it he re-explained it but it didn't help at all cuz the way he explained it was super confusing, so I just decided to look it up on youtube, and this video popped up, so I watched it, and wow! Converting moles is so much easier now! I didn't realize it was so simple, and I was over here thinking I was gonna fail chemistry. Thanks for the help :D
The mole is important in chemistry because the mole is a form of measurement that is essential to calculating the number of atoms inside of chemicals and elements. Calculating the number of atoms in elements and chemicals is extremely important in chemicals reactions because it determines the amount of product produced. So without the mole, medicines and important substances critical to human life today would be impossible to obtain.
This was so incredibly helpful. Those practice problems really helped. I'm so happy to finally be able to do this, that I'm going to go figure out g/mol for caffeine, benzene, glucose and a bunch of others, just for fun.
Oh my goodness thank you so much. I was having such a hard time grasping this and you explained every step so much better than these other videos out here lol
The explanation in this video on this subject was very helpful. It helped my son understand a whole lot easier how to do the conversions. I think he did an awesome job breaking this down. Thank you.
if i ever do go through with hygienist school i want you to know that this was a great intro to chemistry. the whole mathematics side of thing kills me but you made it a little more simple. i’m not there yet but god damn i can say now that it isn’t just a bunch of gibberish.
You explained this much so well! Thank you. I thought this was so hard to do in a bio chem lab but now this is simplified enough that I’m confident I can do it without being so stressed! Thank you so much and I subscribed!!!
thanks for doing what my teacher couldn't. Didn't even tell me what a mole was let alone let me know this existed and that I needed it on my big test lololol.
I just watched this before a test and he explained it better than my teacher the whole section
SAME, MY TEACHER SUCKS AT TEACHING THIS
