Not sure if you have done any Superfruit yet, but you should check Superfruit's Defying Gravity and Frozen Medley. Superfruit is Scott and Mitch's side channel that they used to do. It is another whole other rabbit hole. You will love Mitch in the two that I listed. He is on a whole other level.
They leaned heavily into Kevin's Nigerian background to do it this way. The beats and the cadence are reminicent of that flavour. The choir is an added bonus. It does make you want to get up and dance!! There's a whole album of original music of theirs...The Lucky Ones. It has Be My Eyes, Love Me When I Don't, Happy Now, The Lucky Ones and quite a few non-videod ones that have either a lyric video or a visualizeer: Anchor, Never Gonna Cry Again, It's Different Now, Petals, Side, Bored. All of them are great.
Amazing Grace, Come Along, The First Noel and Popspring 2016 (all with Mitch-slaps and general PTX epicness) Mitch can definitely dance. You need to watch him in some of the Superfruit (Scott and Mitch side-project) videos. Love their upgrade to this classic Christmas carol!
I loved this arrangement of theirs so much that it allowed me to enjoy a christmas aong that had me so jaded for decades. It's an absolute 10 for me. As for what I think you should cover...their upgrade of Kiiara's Gold, it's a very Mitch song. If you have never seen/heard the original, it might be best to do that first to really appreciate the PTX version, but not essential. It's also recorded live in one take.
