NP. My front wheel is my old rear wheel!
@@TheCohesiveGarage oh nice! Wanted to put disc brake setup on my e-bmx. Thanks!
Where'd you find a 20 inch wheel that has the disk brake mounts?
That is a BMX rear wheel that has splines for a gear mount on the front of the bike but I used a disk brake mount adapter from amazon :) www.amazon.com/Bicycle-Freewheel-Threaded-Flange-Adapter/dp/B08RWK1B2Q/ref=sr_1_3?crid=3N196W8UX209J&keywords=gear+brake+disc+hub+mount+adapter+bmx&qid=1649962395&sprefix=gear+brake+disk+hub+mount+adapter+bmx%2Caps%2C119&sr=8-3
@@TheCohesiveGarage what kind of wheel would be compatible with that adapter? Can you link me one if possible
@@anthonyproeger2505 Any rear BMX wheel. . The hub is just 10mm wider so you ether have to bent your front fork a little or order a 110mm front fork.
Electric moter set for BMX parchas link please share
where do you find the tires for 20 inch? all i can find are 26 inch wheels for it.
Which model of mongoose is this?
Title Pro XXL
Is that the NCX suspension seatpost? How did you get it to fit? On there site I'm not seeing 25.4"
Yeah, Love it! My bike is a 27.2 I believe. Sucks if you have the thin tube
@@TheCohesiveGarage Ah okay so thats the title pro xxl frame? Looking to do a similar build with a bmx whats the deal with the rear sprocket? Does this leaf kit come with one or did you rip it off your old hub/buy a new one? Youve got such a dope build
@@boundlesnrg Thanks, Yeah Leaf kit comes with a 16t gear but you can use anything. Yep, 2018 Title pro XXL. The XL would be just as good or better.
How did you mount that battery
I drilled holes and installed nut rivets in the frame. Its held up great.
@@TheCohesiveGarage damn. That’s what I don’t wanna do with my bmx frame by drilling holes…
So I have to find another way to mount it. I used a bag that latches onto the bike seat.
@@ripp3rjak934 have fun
Why is it your freedom machine? Did u get a DUI? Haha just kidding. Thanks for the video. It's an Awesome build and it looks like you did a really high quality job. The fit and finish and everything is wicked. Always wanted to try this.
Haha thanks Matt! I say go for it. It brings me and everyone I let (make) ride it big smiles of joy!

I'm looking into getting a leafmotor too for my BMX. Did you have any additional import duties/customs costs due to shipping from China? Thanks in advance!
I don't recall. I talked to Peter sales@leafbike.com and he did me right.
"This parcel was shipped (with all Items) to Shenzhen & Hongkong by UC express this afternoon.
It will arrive in Shenzhen two days later.
Then our shipping company will ship it to USA by ups express from Hongkong airport.
** We will send you ups tracking number later."
It was smooth and there was always good communication. He answered all my questions before I made the order and helped me with all my follow up questions. Good luck and Cheers!
@@TheCohesiveGarage Awesome. That's great info. Thanks so much!
Great video! Just picked up a BMX bike at Habitat Restore in PA for $25. Going to electrify it and use it as a Sunday Cruiser. How heavy was your bike when you got it? I am looking forward to riding an ebike that I can pick up with one hand that is light enough to extend my range and also to throw in the Jeep!
Thanks! It was 21 lb when I got it
Hey mate, this is my favourite DIY Bmx build on RUclips. Really nice work. A few questions if that is ok! What kind of range can you get out of it on a full-charge? I understand most of the components you used. But did those forks fit without modification? And why did you end up using smaller disc brakes? Cheers.
Ello~ I ordered the wider front fork because I used the rear wheel and it has the threads for the disk adapter and i had 180mm because that is what it was made for but now I put on an adapter so It has the 204mm. The range is about 2o miles I reccon but if you set the ped assist to #1 It will keep going for eeeeevvvvveeeeerrrrrrr. Cheers
How much did it all cost
The electronics were about 700 for everything for the conversion. I have roughly 1200 in this bike I believe.
try 1500v with fat shark 80 battery: take care, tanks A
Looks like shipping for a kit and a battery is $220 to America… ouch. Anyone got another source for the same stuff?
