Smith was a great player, a huge dropped pass, and all.The 1978 Steelers were on another level and considered by many the greatest NFL team of all time. 45th anniversary today as I type this. 1/21/1979--1/21/2024.

dallas has some messed up fans ! i worked with a guy from dallas 25 years after the steelers beat the cowboys and he asked me if i thought benny barnes interfered with lynn swann, i was like who the "F" is benny barnes ! i cant beleive dallas is still sore about a call i dont even remember from that long ago !
It’s not about being sore. In this particular game, Dallas had way too many mistakes. As a fan from the early 90s and on… I just like going back and reliving the history, good or bad.
