I've loved Bridget's sassy humor for years. (She could deftly handle Chris' grumps and snark.) She's always been my favorite person on ATK and Cook's Country.
I have always loved watching both of them. I'm glad that Head office didn't look outside of the company. and Realized Lancaster is a gem and they had better keep her.
Bridget Lancaster is so charismatic, so charming, so intuitive. She is always listening, and lets others shine. She might be a different person off camera, but Bridget seems like she would walk up to you and start a conversation ("...my new book is over there...")
I love ATK and Cook's Country for it's easy to understand food prep and humorous crew of chefs. Bridget and Julia have become such a wonderful matched set over the years that it is impossible to imagine those shows without them. Thanks for the great video!
Bridget and Julia are great together. They didn’t need CK at all. The other staff on ATK are all very good and come across as super relatable. Carry on ATK!
At first when I started watching, I thought BL was a bit too tough in her demeanor, especially when Chris Kimball challenged her on some points of the recipes. Then, I realized that she had a totally fine sense of humor and wasn’t afraid to use it. As I followed the show week after week, I realized she and the other members were the best parts of the shows. When Kimball left to do Cook’s Country, I knew that BL and the rest of the cast would go on to make ATK one of the best cooking shows on PBS. That’s precisely what happened too. And then when Cook’s Country came to join the other show, I thought that everybody was willing to work together. Then Kimball raised that snooty attitude again and it wasn’t long before the rest of the cast was feeling like they were being walked on. That image evidently was seen by the higher ups in charge and they soon took care of the issue. The moral here folks is if you’re going to work together, then you can’t let a dominant personality take over because it will become his show. But fortunately for us as an audience, we got to save two cooking shows that are truly inspiring and that will help us become better at cooking from simple stuff to more complex meals that would make us feel defeated if we didn’t have help. So thanks Bridget, Julia, Jack and everyone else for all your help in making better cooks out of us all.
I'M a big fan of AMERICA'S TEST KITCHEN ever since it debuted on P. B. S. Julia Child got me interested in cooking by the casual approach she took in preparing meals that everybody wanted to make at home. BRIDGET and JULIA add a nice light touch to the program as well as all the other cooks on the show. I maybe going on 90 next year, but that doesn't mean that I shouldn't keep my Interest in preparing my own meals. Chow everyone and Bon Appetite.
I watch 13.3 on the regular TV and wish I could see it on cable. It's called create TV. I love public TV of all kinds, I love the fact that's its informative and no commercials . With that Thank you Lancaster and crew. ❤
I love them both! My wife and daughters and I keep the TV tuned to the ATK channel. It’s like white noise for us at this point, lol! We subscribe to the app, and have bought several of their cookbooks as well. Their equipment reviews are what drive our housewares and appliance purchases from Vitamix, to KitchenAid, to Lodge cast iron skillets, to anything by Oxo! Bridget, Julia and the entire ATK crew legitimately feel like a part of our family at this point!
Bridget and Julia made the art of cooking more approachable and less intimidating. Love ATK and CC with these capable chefs leading. Great ladies with warmth and depth for viewers, making all their chefs feel welcome to show their skills! Appreciate Bridget! ❤❤❤
Chris Kimble was still on ATC when I started to watch. I think around 2015. Both ladies are fantastic - gravitate naturally to Bridget with her softer voice and ways. Hope the show last many more years. Love on the cooks and they make some really great eats.
In an odd way, they're like the cooking show version of Adam and Jamie from Mythbusters, with Julia as Adam and Bridget as Jamie (one more ebullient, one more staid).
Hey, some of us have massive gardens we tend and even a dairy, mine were goats,...I might taste everything cooking but. I seldom sit down to a full meal..( and if I do it's child's size)
A skinny chef may just mean they have a fast metabolism. Or that they're a whirling dervish in the kitchen, multitasking, and racing from station to station.
Bridget and Julia are great, BUT... I'll take the previous host, Christopher Kimball, over these 2 any day. There is something fake about the humor and the chemistry seems forced. Also, you don't have to disparage one person to pump up another. I have started seeing this pattern more frequently in recent years. It's silly and it doesn't work. Do better.
Are you a fan of Bridget Lancaster on "America's Test Kitchen?"
I think Lancaster has been the best thing that ever happened to ATK!!!!
I agree.
Your high!
It's Bridget's humour that really sets her apart. She's one of the few media people I'd love to have coffee with.
I've loved Bridget's sassy humor for years. (She could deftly handle Chris' grumps and snark.) She's always been my favorite person on ATK and Cook's Country.
yup - Chris BLEW IT when he split
Yes… “grumps and snark”. Chris’s trademark.
One of most favourite segment was the sticky toffee buns with the two. Bridget was absolutely hilarious with Julia being a perfect foil.
I have always loved watching both of them. I'm glad that Head office didn't look outside of the company. and Realized Lancaster is a gem and they had better keep her.

I love Bridget. I enjoy watching her on America's test kitchen and Cook's country too.
Love ATK, she makes me laugh every time! She knows her stuff and I’ve never seen any hesitation from her and Julia. I watch them everyday, outstanding
ATK is the best.
Bridget has always been my favorite, she seems so happy and down to earth. You can tell all of her coworkers love working with her.
I wish Bridget the best. I love all the shows and the entire cast. I have the big book and have learned a lot. Thank you!❤
I love the Bridget/Julia era of ATK. They’re so cute with each other. 🥰🥰🥰

I just love both of these ladies and so enjoy their segments.
Love her! Love Julia! Love the shows!
I really like these two and hope ATK never changes the line up (or at least for a very long time.)
I still like her with the ponytail!
That’s my girls, fun with Elle, Ashley and Christie and Lan and Morgan, Erin and Becky
In my eyes she is still as gorgeous as ever !
Bridget is the best!
She’s one of my favorites of the show
I am a big fan of the whole cast of ATK ❤
She looks
Great

I Love them all!! Never miss either show every Saturday!! Got the magazine's and books!!!! 💖🌼🐈

I love Bridget, have been watching her for years. I agree she is the best thing to happen to ATK. Don't miss Kimbell not a very likable character.
I couldn’t watch when he was on. He’s so sarcastic and smug. Sarcastic, but not in a funny way. In a mean insecure mean kid way.
Amen!
Bridget has a down-home country girl beauty. She has always been my favorite
Love the guys too
Love her!
She's 🔥

Bridget is my FAV, don't pick on her!!!
Love the show, love the cast, love the magazines and cooking tips! My favorite recipe show!🥰🥰🥰
Search out the bloopers from ATK and Cook's Country. I've never laughed harder with respect to Sticky Buns.
I will miss her. The are both awesome cooks and very informative as well. I wish them both the best and continue with the show
What do you mean, you will miss her? Is she leaving ATK?
Love her
I ADORE Bridget ! ..... she has a "groupie" here if she chooses !
I like her! Can the announcer try to end sentences without the drawn out affectation?
Over 11 minutes to tell us sometimes she doesn't wear a ponytail. That IS an amazing change in Bridget Lancaster. Thank you for keeping us informed.
I like both of them they are a great duo😊
I haven't seen this change. My PBS station must not have more recent shows.
Bridget is my favorite. I love her long blonde hair. Her personality is above and beyond the normal person.
Omg the biography is so lengthy
The show just isn't the same without Christopher Kimball
Bridget is great. Julia drives me nuts with her somewhat fake "ho, ho's," "ooh's" and "aah's" when others are demonstrating a recipe.
Totally agree
Wasnt for Julia
They wouldn’t be here
Don't trash Julia to praise Bridget.
I have always loved Bridget -- there was no need to trash Kimball to praise Lancaster.
Is that a real person speaking or is it an AI voice? Either way it's horrible!
Good video, but the narrator has an abrasive voice.
agreed, kinda whiney - OY!
Yummy 😊
Yummy
What a lot of repetitive blather.
When did Bridget get divorced? Note the vanishing wedding ring compared to past years.
Never trust a skinny chef.
When Kimble left the show it went in the toilet and the 2 women got huge since starting the show...
Kimball is pompous. And who cares what they weigh? They're awesome.
@@Ro11311 Kimball was the only reason the show is around. They're not awesome, just a couple land cows..
Too much snakin

Anyone else think that Bridget & Julia are secretely a couple?
They are both getting overweight, unfortunately.
🙄
