    For me, the 6th number that makes him legend is the age of 43 at which he still competes on the highest level. This is truly incredible.

      dejffjed agree he scored a hattrick during the 2014-2015 season which broke the record for the oldest player to score 3 goals in a game formerly hold by Gordie Howe, also remember that he played like 4 seasons or so in the KHL not in the NHL and was victim of several NHL lockouts....

      Jack Ainsworth yeah, you're both right... And there is more about him. Extremely hardworking - he sometimes just feels the best time for a training, so he gets up at 1:00 AM and goes to the gym, or the ice... His strength is unbelievable, his pace, his passion... The best about him is that he is very modest.

    Jagr has been in Nagano in 1998 and he still represents Czech Republic now. I don't think he ever refused (when he could) to represent his country and that makes him special for me. And this year he rocks at the championship.

    So glad to have been able to see this guy play in New Jersey for a season and a half. I knew he was a great player, but I didn't fully appreciate it until I got to see him day in and day out. His post game pressers are some of the best in the league, such a sense of humor.
    All time favorite player. Hope he plays 'till he's fifty!

      I miss his prime because he was the second best goal scorer after Mario. I think that the three best goal scorers of all time are as following.. Mario, Ovi and Jagr. I always hoped for Jagr to play with Forsberg. Or Forsberg centering a line with Mario and Jagr. They would never have lost any games.

      +Mike Scharff but imagine - 3 years in KHL and 4 lockouts - without these, he will be easily second player in history of hockey with 2000+ points.

    I agree with Mario that you couldn't replace Jagr, but Mario knew damn well that Jagr were the second best player in the world every year Peter Forsberg played, but had to say it since they played in the same team and since Mario own the team. :))

  • @Kubkoh

    He wasnt first to win Art Ross though.. I know its debatable but Stan Mikita was the first one. Even in nhl.com he is listed under slovak nationality

    • @martinpilc
      @martinpilc 8 лет назад

      +Kubko Yes, and first poland was Gretzky.

    • @Kubkoh
      @Kubkoh 8 лет назад +3

      +martinpilc Stan played before Gretzky, so he wasnt first.. And how is Gretzky polish? Mikita was born in Slovakia and lived there as a child and than left to Canada. Gretzky was born in Ontario..

      +Kubko H Gretzky is a Polish name and he's grandfather is Polish mate ;-) that's how he is Polish bruh

    • @Kubkoh
      @Kubkoh 8 лет назад +1

      +Danielé Tobias San Valentíno-Lundberg Yea I get that, its just he was raised in Canada. He is polish just like Paul Stastny is slovak (sorry dont have any other examples than slovaks lol) And Mikita was born and spend part of childhood in Slovakia.. My point is just that technically Jagr wasnt first european to win the scoring title.. Nevertheless all three are fuckin legends
