Skillet is my one true love in music. I was going through the normal "I hate everyone and the world phase" when I was a teenager. I found them by accident and it changed my life forever. Each song had a meaning to me and brought me back from the edge of self destruction for which I am eternally thankful. Skillet's music has led me to finding other Christian rock bands like RED, Starset, Thousand Foot Crutch and so many more. When I'm having a bad day, I turn to music and their music is always my "go-to" to put me in a better mood. Thank you John and Jen Cooper for creating such an amazing band that influences so many like me. I love you guys!!

@@victoriabell9546 its ken steorts who created the band with john cooper in 1996. It was a pure male band at the beginning you also see it on their early covers. His wife joined later and jen ledger joined just before the awake album.

This band in incredible, just the mix of a rock band and a christian band is amazing! The first sing I've heard by them was monster, then feel invincible. I was in love with the band when i heard monster. 😍❤❤❤❤

I’ve remembered being introduced to Skillet in 2011, around 8 year old. Back then, I didn’t really pay mind to their music. Then, at 11, I gave Comatose a try. Never have I looked back in regret in the 5 years I’ve listened to them. They helped me get through one of the most traumatic times in my life, a pedophile in pursuit of me online. So... Thank you, Skillet. You guys changed my life for the better.
