That powerbomb Konan pulled off, might be the safest, best display of "taking care of an opponent" I've ever seen. Props to Konan for being so strong to not only catch Crowbar, but pick him back up and make the powerbomb look good, while still safe.

Steve Grissom was promoting the NASCAR Busch Series (now Xfinity) race at Daytona International Speedway, which he would actually win in the WCW car. That series was the 2nd tier below the "big league" NASCAR Cup Series (Winston Cup at the time).

Also, the comment about wrestling fans watching racing being a stretch. That is actually a true statement. I'm from the Southeast region of the United States. NASCAR racing is huge here. And the majority of the people that watch racing also watched wrestling. Hell in the 90s it would be me, my brother, and our uncle at the dirt track on Friday night, wrestling on TV Saturday night, racing on TV Sunday, and wrestling again on TV Monday night.

Later in 1997 he started working for WWF as a job guy, which included losing to Taka Michinoku in the Light Heavyweight Championship tournament.

Any chance of something like this for ECW in the future? Either a reliving the war against WWE or just something like this episode with no scoring system made into a series. Either would be great

Always found it amazing around this time that even when others were in WCW title match Hogan still managed to be the main event. Saying that though it was better than the nWo period where there was hardly any title defences on PPVs and even in the matches that Hogan was in as champion and lost the title was never on the line which they got away with not mentioning it at all until the last minute. I always wondered who would by these shows since most of the time between 96 and 98 they were mainly full of main events that were miss sold or ones that were meaningless and had little build.

Well he was the reason wcw ever turned profit in 1995 his drawing power gave him the leverage to influence the booking
