Since we're saying goodbyes in different languages... Sayonara is also a more permanent or long-term kind of goodbye, just like adieu. It's like "farewell", so for casual goodbyes usually you'd say something like "ja ne (see you)" or "mata ne (see you later)"!

I went here upon your recommendation when I went to the olympics and it was awesome. Best roller coasters. I hit up almost all the roller coasters. I did the wooden roller coaster and it was just painful, I tried to stand up, my organs were being crushed and shifted in my body. I did not like the wooden coaster here. Ticky tacky is an undertstatement. Did the Gaulic feast at the end of the day, met all the characters, got stung by a wasp. Still worth it. Great recommendation though, many thanks to your friends for inviting you.

I love Popeye! Asterisk and Obelisk so much more clever and fun than South Park to me but i like history. They may be closer to being like Hagar the Horrible or BC …
Hello Chris. The Village is definitely interesting. So many fun things to see! The wild pig was cool, but my favorite was the Comic Shop and the water ride with the Ludavick Princess and the characters- Bacon, and the worst singer characters! It really is a different kind of park, but fun. Certainly an experience you will never forget. Thanks for sharing! 💖🤗💖
I absolutely LOVE your French friends!! So much fun!!! They are the best!!! And you too, Chris.. what a great time. I laughed a lot.. Where are Amanda & Miles??? Another day in Disney Paris, perhaps?? Anyway love you all!
Irreverent. You had me at that!. Lol when you didn't have your glasses after he tout coaster and said this has never happened to me I thought oh no. Not the glasses! But the tie? Wow a coaster that takes your tie off? Not since Superman the escape at Magic Mountain that could be possible. I kid. The park looks amazing. I liked Popeye, I would say since I grew up with the cartoons I liked it. I prefer Scooby Doo and Bugs bunny. I didn't have cable for South Park. I tried to get into it and Sponge bob but apparently I am stuck with Scooby Doo and Bugs bunny. Love the blogs. Back to this one. Safe travels, hi to Amanda, great job driving Miles. Nutella banana and strawberry stuffed crepes are my favorite, have one for me. Michelle from Omaha
I loved the Asterix and Obelix films, I had no idea there was a park, it looks so fun, too bad my French is so poor, still it's great to know it exists. I always thought the dog was called Dogmatix, silly me.
Heehee!!! We went there in 2002! It was an interesting day. I studied French for eight years, and loved Asterix, and Obelix comics. When we went, the characters were NOT interested in having photos taken with us. 🤷🏻♀️ But my husband LOVED Le Tonnerre du Zeus!!! The new version wasn't built, of course. I was annoyed with the smoking and line cutting, but the park was a fun experience.
I know at least one of those bobsled type rides in the US! At Kings Dominion in Doswell, Virginia, the most recent land that opened up is adventure themed, and they have one ride in that style called Reptilian. I’m definitely a fan. It’s fun to have some thing that’s so different from the conventional roller coasters.
Sayonara also implies a permanent (or at least very prolonged) parting. Matane [mah-tah-nay] is "see you later" and more appropriate unless you expect to likely never see someone again.
Cedar point back in the 70s had an indoor bobsled type ride. It was my first coaster. They closed it because it was deemed too dangerous. It was a hoot
I remember that...late '70s and then '80's was called "Avalanche Run" maybe there's a video of it, but i haven't seen one yet. Then they ENCLOSED it and called it "Disaster Transport", but yeah it was closed as you said....i loved that ride...theming was on point at the start, but definitely degraded as time went on...fun though!
We had a bobsled coaster at Great Escape in Lake George NY but the line always was slow and didnt run alot. They just tore it down and built a small family wooden coaster.
I really want to go to Parc Astérix at least once, I love the comic books, and I've driven past the park so often when underway to Spain or the Provence, but every time I'm like: I WANT TO GO HERE ONE DAY. Ps. I hope you enjoyed reading the comic book. I recently saw the Netflix version of the Asterix and Obelix in Britain and it was so funny. Made me want to read the comic again because there are so many more little jokes in there :3

The wild pig was cool, but my favorite was the Comic Shop and the water ride with the Ludavick Princess and the characters- Bacon, and the worst singer characters! It really is a different kind of park, but fun. Certainly an experience you will never forget. Thanks for sharing! 💖🤗💖
Hey Chris, if you like Bobsled coasters you need to try Flying Turns @ Knoebels, PA.
The world’s only wooden bobsled roller coaster!
Hello? Why have I not heard about cheesy carrots? Your food looks delicious.
Tourists reminds me of Top Speed Dragster at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio.
Jimmy’s coat Is awesome!!!! J’temp ❤
Never heard of this comics gotta looks into it asterix comics, looks like a lots of fun that you had
I have driven past Parc Asterix multiple times, now i know what it looks like! It looks like a lot of fun.
Enjoy seeing themes parks from other countries
@@alanburk9714 Welcome to Alaska!
I will be your French guide! I’m from Quebec and love Astérix since I’m a child 🤩 so nice to see this Park and see you trying to understand French 🤣
Im from Alabama- I LOVE Asterisk and Obelisk!!❤ Have been a fan of theirs for decades! I didn’t know that they had a theme park!
🎉 Loved going on this French Adventure with you, but where are Amanda and Miles?? Hugs to all ❣️🫶🫶🫶
What an interesting park!! I especially enjoyed seeing the comic books.
Awhhh, bring them back to the states and vlog. 😊
FYI - here is a bobsled track coaster at Kings Dominion in Virginia. It is now called Reptilian.
What an amazing video!! Your friends are amazing ❤. What a fun time. I loved this park. Thanks for another amazing video. Good friends you have ❤️
Haven’t watched yet. So happy to see you in France with friends!
We had a bobsled coaster at Great Escape in Lake George NY but the line always was slow and didnt run alot. They just tore it down and built a small family wooden coaster.
No Goudourix? ...:D that's relatable/understandable :)
I know of 2 trackless coasters in the USA, I'm sure there are more. One is in Kings Dominion, the other is in Knoebels
Made me want to read the comic again because there are so many more little jokes in there :3
Very cool! You look gorgeous as always!
Thank you so much!!
