Nice to finally see a magnetic charging coupler that uses big contacts instead of tiny ones. I've had to struggle with aligning little pinhead sized things for my tablet and phone and smartwatch & this is a far better way to do it. Might pick up one of these, even though I only have the one controller, since the DS4 is really picky about what it will & won't charge from if you don't use it with the console.
These are great for that. The last few charging systems I have used have been a pain as you think the controllers are charged, but then you realise that the controller wasn't quite sitting on the dock properly and therefore haven't charged. These don't have that issue.
PDP Gaming had the PS4 Slim charging station for $12 so I picked it up. Definitely excited to try it out as I hate how long it takes to charge with a USB cable.
ppl complaining about losing the dongle obviously need to teach their kids better. Otherwise why would anyone plug them off? And u also dont usually bring them to friends or so because any real gamer has at least 2 controllers.
Do u know the mha off the batterys supplied ? Do u know it has cut off protection for the batterys? And if so does the light go off once fully charged? Great video btw i subbed look forward to hearing your response!

so this is more like for people who have only 2 controllers, otherwise for people who have 4 controllers they would have to keep removing the dongles place it on the other 2 controllers (PS4)
Does anyone know the height of the ps4 version with controllers docked? I have my ps4 in an audio rack with about 3.5" clearance, currently I'm keeping my controllers next to it but I want to get rid of the charging cables to make it look cleaner, think this will fit?

On the altar slim charger it show two slid lines. Do you know what that may mean?
Sounds like you need to connect the controllers to the PS4. If you plug the controller in to the console using the micro usb cable they should pair up ready for use.
@@FrugalGaming I know this comment is 3 years old, but this isn't true, it does work with the back button attachment. But it only works in the lower docking bay. The bottom bay has extra clearance that the top bay doesn't have. My setup is: regular controller in top charging bay, bottom charging bay has my controller with the back button attachment connected to it.
Possibly the worst charging station for ps users. 1. The charging thing it doesn’t let the controller touch the ground so u have to spend hours trying to get it in just the right angle for it to charge.2. When it’s perfectly on top of the station it doesn’t charge it unless it’s at the right angle.3. Led lights suck on the box they make it look like something ninja would have but they light up nothing and don’t get passed the controller. All together really bad don’t waste ur money

Yes they updated the charging system to be compatible with the series x and s controllers you just need to look at the battery back
