It was a really great mix of 4x4’s was a great evening nice night run we carried on for a good hour after the filming finished we was deep in the forest great experience! And that 101 was the icing on the cake! 👌👌
Great video mate. We ran out of time to do Dunlop at the weekend as the Navara in our group got well and truly stuck on that washout on the switchback. Ended up having to winch him up from a D2 behind 😂
Mate it was so cool to see one of these never had the chance to see one up and close let alone come out on a trip so this was a fantastic day!! Gotta love a old British V8 👌

This is a video I have been waiting to see I would love the land rover 101 just for the fact is old school and still reasonably easy to work on ,I can't wait to get a 4x4 I'd love to come along for some green laning one day ,great video guys👍🇬🇧
I agree with you I’ve been waiting for this day too,I was in talks with the owner of the Landy for good while planning a trip out and it all came together great to see a big old British bruiser doing it’s thing and not tucked up in a shed!! @@ALL_4_WHEELS that's fair enough mate makes everything run abit smoother and I must say how surprised I am by the td5s they looked fairly standard and just took it in there stride, my dad has a standard td5 just got a/t tyres and she has proved us both wrong 😎😁👌👌
Honestly a stock D2 on some good tyres is perfect that’s all they need once you go but big lifts tyres you need to upgrade everything as you’ll be snapping shifts and diffs etc!!

That was a belter Ad! Great selection of tracks there! I am loving what I see there. The 101 was stunning. What a monster took everything in its stride. Glad I didn't buy that classic Range Rover now, I have got to get me one of those! Loved the D3, and the D2's, all the drivers did a good job driving. Some tricky sections there if you don't know them. Very good vid, good guys on a nice trip.

I think a truck like that you're not going to be afraid to put it through its paces because its just going to take it all in its stride. It sounded great and just made light work of everything. I must say the D3 with its V8 was very subdued. Which is odd because the V8 originated with BMW!
We started this trip about 6:30/7pm so didn’t have much light,as couple guys wanted to do the forest sections in the dark. Such a cool trip will see the guys again for a nice day run soon! What did you think of the 101?it’s pretty special to get one on the vids!
Been laning since 2010,did a few groups but didn’t last so just laned upto 2015- was a Glass rep but did t really get anywhere,then had children so 2016-2019 rest period stated laning 2020 then started going out and about posting and recording our adventures for other to enjoy..just took off from there. 👌

@@ALL_4_WHEELS I do have a old chanel called greenlaneuk I put vids up of open roads and government closed them within wks of vid going up nearly all closed in derbyshire which was the adventure playground of the uk ie better than anywere else in the uk if I put vids up all the roads on them will be closed already .just telling you what's coming there going to shut your lanes

Waay back in around 1994 we built a 101 on a coiler chassis with an 4.5 V8 and autobox with lockers at both ends! Absolute beast of a thing!

Cheers it’s 50 next year and was used as a mortar truck so towed a sankey trailer most of its military lift

I love this hobby never stop! We’re very lucky in wales the lanes are graded but not closed and there’s always some new ones to be re-discovered!!
