Great tip on using a paint brush. I always had the fear of dropping my little brush inside. I am adding that to my list of items to get today . Thank you 😊
@QuiltWithKim I finally found some time this evening to clean out my machine. I did a total deep clean. OMG! 😮 I kid you not. I found a 3" thread that was hiding under the crank. I had so much fluff I couldn't believe my eyes 😂. I was able to clean in areas that I couldn't reach for years. My machine is so clean it looks like it's a new machine 😂. I couldn't help but I had to take a picture 😂. Thanks again for that awesome paintbrush tip 🥰
Yes, paintbrushes are a great idea! I just did this recently due to a snarl and the machine's screwdriver is really too big! Not the head but the handle so REALLY Hard to manipulate under the top. Had to have it on a slight angle so took ages to get the screw to move. Anyway, I did do as much as I could see but could have done it even more so will be better next time .... Love your very practical videos, Kim 👍👍😊😊
Oh goodness, I hear you Helen. I always think that sewing machines should be designed like the big kitchen mixers, where you can lift the top bit up on a hinge. Then we could all get at the screws easily. In the meantime however…. Could you see if you can get one of the little screwdrivers (the round or triangle ones, depending on your machine)? The other thing you could try (with Christmas approaching) is get one of those little packs of screwdrivers that come in Christmas crackers. Not perfect, but may help. And at least you’ll get to wear a silly hat in the process 😂 My husband has also said there are such things as right angled screwdrivers (and evidently he has one…who knew?!). More expensive than the Christmas cracker route but might be worth investigating. Thank you for following my videos and so glad they’re helpful. Kim x
@@QuiltWithKim Haha, yes like a mixer! I think I will have to try and find one of those. I have a multi gadget one and tried that but too long... I will do a search I think. Have never seen screwdrivers in Christmas crackers here! I avoid the silly hats if I can... I might see if I can find a right angled one! 😁 And, you can! Only $4 for three of different sizes, flathead and Phillips. So about £2 😊 Helena

You’re very welcome ☺️ Did you get your paintbrush 🖌️?
