Question? How do you treat for flatmates. I've seen people use sulphur but I read somewhere ur not supposed to use that inside so I was curious? Thanks!
You are so hardworking blogger. You put so much effort on each video, the whole picture behind you, writing each plant’s names, finding photos and showing us them. You look stunning each time. It’s a plenty of time and preparation and editing. I enjoy every single video of yours.Sometimes people show their plants and do it like whatever. You not) That’s why I appreciate the work you do.❤ Queen in planty content❤
This would be a sad video recommendation, but I’m genuinely curious about all of the Hoya you previously had, like ones that died or you got rid of. Like a Hoya graveyard video lol
Also, something to consider for Hoya that haven’t bloomed- most prefer a temp dip at the end of the growing season. I leave them either on the patio, or right up against a window so they experience temps in the 50-40f range depending on the variety.
I grow Hoya (indoor plants in general) mostly for their leaves. The flowers are just a cherry on top for me. So, I usually go for very prominent veining, ability to sunstress, leaf shape, and variegation. Your collection is beautiful, Fern!
Hoya are so shockingly underrated. Easy yet impossible to grow at times. I have so many single leaf cuttings that have taken 4+ years just to push out new growth. There are times I wanted to give up on them, but then they do something spectacular and I am sucked back in. Hoya are remarkable.
SO PUMPED FOR THIS!!! ❤❤ I'm in my Hoya and Anthurium Era ✨ So I'm very interested in a full breakdown like this ❤ Thank you for such a long video too!! Happy Monday Fern 😊
I got some hoya linearis cuttings about 8 months ago and is rooting in water. I’ve been putting off potting in soil bc I’m afraid it might died, but after seeing yours I’m ready to get it growing! So amazing
Giiiiiiiirl lol thank you soo much for filming this not only once, but twice🙏🏽 the only thing I didn't like is the amount of hoya added to my wishlist lmao your compacta and linearis are a liiiiiteral dream😍🌿 Begonia collection next...?
🍃 cannot wait to see The Queen in bloom! I hesitate to watch these types of videos as I ALWAYS extend my Wishlist for whatever plant is being spoken of 😂😂😂😂 So I now have a “few” more Hoya to look into ❤
Yessss! Hoya tour🎉🌱🌸 Upon watching again, it looks like there might be a mealy on your green obovata near the lower weird leaf. Could be a bit of semi hydro though, kinda hard to tell. 🪲
You’re the only plant influencer that I watch faithfully on RUclips! I get so excited when I see a new video has been posted! Also, you’re glowing!! Would love to know what lipgloss you’re wearing? BTW: I’m now hooked on Mooncat nail polish & just purchased the nail polish acrylic wall holders! Thank you for being such a VIBE!! 🫶🏼
Omg that is the funniest story ever about the Mathilde. And it looks so beautiful now! I’ve downsized my collection significantly, but my full bushy Hoya Mathilde is one that will have to be pried from my cold, dead hands 😆
Love this!! I've had a few hoyas for years but only recently started collecting more and I'm obsessed! Lol I can only usually afford cuttings, but I'm hoping they are happy! 🌵 🌿 🌺
This is gonna be intense ✨ I'm getting my pen and paper cause I ALREADY know ima be adding to my wishlist 😭😍😌🤍 By the way may I just say, you look stunning 🌸
Thank you for this nice tour Fern! Your hoyas look so happy! I can predict this video is going to hurt the budget of many people watching. Lol. My wish list is getting longer and longer........
i love how you post the pictures too! you're so good at editing and sitting perfectly so you can fit all three gorgeous things in frame at once ok i'm totally addicted and going to have to get so many :P
💚🪴🌱 you have a beautiful hoya collection!!! Was a tad sad not to see the krimson queen in 1st place! How do you care for your hoya when it comes to watering? I’ve heard to let them dry out 100% before watering which is what I’ve done. But recently I’ve heard that you shouldn’t let them dry out completely which confuses me cause anytime I’ve watered my hoya before they are completely dry, I’ve rotted them every single time. Would love to know what you typically do for those that aren’t in self watering pots :) also, the fact that you took the time to redo this video twice due to the bad audio just shows how amazing of a RUclipsr you are. It’s no wonder you are a top fav for me and I’m sure for many others❤💚♥️
I´ll be a Philodendron fan until my last breath, but some of the Hoya you showed got me searching for shops in my country that sell them 😩 beautiful collection you have!
You might not have expected a fan from Seoul, Korea, but I got to love your videos. I love your vast collection of hoya and elaborated explanations and beautiful planty hoya themselves.
Girl, so many great plants. Holy Moly! I've only been collecting hoya for about a year and there are several of yours that you shared in last years video that made it on my wishlist, that I now own: sheperdii- which was really hard to find but it's so cool; linearis- yours is insane and totally #goals; multiflora- gave me my first 2 blooms on any hoya and I love yours on a trellis, so will be stealing that idea. Also added several more on my wishlist after this video. Thank you for a great video.💜
Thank you for taking us on a tour of your Hoya! I watched the whole thing and added a bunch to my wish list 🤗 Hoya linearis was my first Hoya, because of your hype! Still one of my favorites!
Love, love, love! I bought a Hoya compacta based on your example. This will be my first Hoya and I am a long time plant fanatic. Looking forward to learning more from your channel
I love the charm on your hoya obovata!! I had a similar issue with mine growing deformed leaves when it wasn't getting enough light, sometimes my hoya leaves also deform when they aren't getting enough water. :)
I wonder if some Hoyas are like certain orchids where they need the temperature difference in the night and day to begin its blooming cycle? It seems that way. What if you pulled your Caudata from the cabinet and it also starts its bloom cycle??? worth a try 🤔😍
Hi Fern! Watch the whole thing till the end and LOVED IT!! I love hoya compacta but its growing so slow for me, I can't believe the size of yours😍 (Btw I usually watch your videos has soon has you post but just like you I haven't seen my summer, it went so fast😮 Anyway now I have a bunch of videos to catch up😊💚
💚💚🍃 I made it to the end of the video, and added like five hoya to my wishlist. NOT the shooting star though because I've already killed it twice. 😭😭 I wish I could figure it out, but I struggle with less succulent hoya. Yours is so beautiful, but so are all your plants.
Fern ur one of my favorite 🌿 🌿 channels~~ I dk whats changed but you look sooo beautiful in this video. ( beautiful always) but thank you for yet another amazing video. Hoyas are a favorite of mine and now idk why but I'm kinda getting an obsession with philodendron and all the varieties .. ~~~ BE WELL AND KEEP SMILING~~
Wow, what a satisfying long display of wonderful hoyas! I know some of the hoyas you have are very pricy! But your top 3 are very common and not pricy. You are very kind!
I did watch this in one setting. Such a wonderful video and having you to record it twice tells me how much you love us and how dedicated you are with your channel. I did write down 7 that I may have to get. Lol Hoya is one of my favorite plants.❤😂
Your Hoya collection is bigger than my entire plant collection! I absolutely love Hoyas and getting to see so many different ones in a single video is just amazing. Definitely added a few to my wishlist after this!
Oh my goodness!!! I needed this!! I’m only at 10 but my obsession has only begun. I love seeing all the different varieties that you have. I’m sure this video will increase my wishlist sooo much
Hi fern 💜 made it to the end 🌱 Im always excited for your new video, you are my favorite plant content creator. Joined your patreon recently. Your hoyas are beautiful, I just got hoya polyneura broget and now I desperately need the other polyneuras 🌱👌
just bought my first ever hoya (krimson queen) and come home to see you uploaded this!! seeing your beautiful krimson queen is making me even more excited about growing mine!😊
It would be neat to see a reaction video to an older plant video. Maybe giving us feedback on what you now do different or what mistakes you've learned from?
💚💚💚great video your plants are so healthy. I think it’s the miracle grow causing the blooming I have been doing the same trying to use up all of my fertilizer and mine are pushing out peduncles too!
Fern, I was so excited to see you do this Hoya video today 🎉. I too have fallen hard down the Hoya rabbit hole. I started collecting 3 mos ago and am now up to 90 😮. After watching this, I have many more on my wish list, gee thanks! 😅. Question, I noticed you have quite a few in Pon, but what substrate do you prefer and what do you have your Linearis in? Just love your channel btw ❤
fern i highly recommend you collect a hoya chouke!! she’s the sister to the mathilde, a hybrid of the serpens + carnosa. her lil leaves are deep green, flat + fuzzy & she is such an easy grower. i think you’d love her 🥹
Soo looking forward to watching all of this, i LOVE your overalls, totally inspired me to think about sewing myself some..i also just realized our hair looks super similar rn! I just cut mine, layers and length like yours but with face framing pieces instead of bangs. Also, have you/would you ever do a hoya for beginners? Ideally cheap ones..lol I want one so bad but feel so bad spending so much i can't really afford on a really small cutting 😭
Love the hoya collection videos!!!! ❤❤❤ I too have got into them over the last year or so...but nowhere near as many as ypu have. Wilbur graves still on my wishlist!! Beautiful!! My fave is my linearis ❤
💚🪴🌿oh my goodness ive been waiting for this video all year it feels like!! i love your hoya collection so much. your linearis is gooaalllssss holy smokes. did i miss the krimson princess? or was she a victim of the mealies? anyway, doesnt matter your collection is stunning. My kalimantan recently started growing for me and im obsessed with it. have you seen the ganung gading?? its at the top of my list. wonderful video, thank you so much for sharing!!
Hey Fern! Uncertain of your current set up, but my obovata loves some direct sun. I have mine in a northwest window. It ends up getting about 2 hours of direct setting sun. I also have found that it needs more water (and fertilizer) than my other hoyas, but it does still like to dry out. I have it in a mix of coconut coir and chunky bonsai soil.
Love love love your videos ❤️ I've found my Obovatas need more water then I give my other hoya. As soon as I started watering more often they took off. May try it and see. Your plants are beautiful great job!!
finallyyyy posting my updated hoya collection - ranked, and with photos of blooms, when i got them, and where I got them! See you down the Hoya rabbit hole 🕳🤪
LOVE that you added where and when you got them! So delightful to watch!

I got some hoya linearis cuttings about 8 months ago and is rooting in water. I’ve been putting off potting in soil bc I’m afraid it might died, but after seeing yours I’m ready to get it growing! So amazing
💚💚💚Your plants are so beautiful! Love your videos!❤
So excited for this! Just getting into Hoya in the last few months and collection is growing. Can’t wait to see the ones I need to add to my list 😂😅
Love your finger nail polish color. thank you for showing the different kinds of hoyas, I had no ideal there were so many kinds.
This is how you start off your day - by watching a hoya video from Fern 😻🥳💚
sounds like an excellent start to the day to me 😁🌿

YAY! The genus collections videos are my absolute favorite! Lets goooooooooooo!!!!!

watched aaaaaaaall of it while repotting and transplanting my own collection tysm
Oh yes! I'm so looking forward to the next two hours ☺️ I love the Hoya rabbit hole 😂❤
Omg. Finally. Love me some Hoya! And with you even better!

Lola my linearis is my favourite too, mine hasn’t bloomed either but she’s really long. Loved this video, thank you Fern 💚
thank you so much for watching! linearis is the best ;)
