Lifesaver! I've been watching a few of your videos lately and managed to convert a map to multifruit with 20 fruit types and custom animal food thanks to your tutorials and a bit of time, last thing to sort out is all of the grass has turned into one of the mod crops I added, this tutorial here is just what im looking for to fix that hiccup, thanks for the time and effort you put into these helpful tutorials
Hmmm after watching the video i see you mention a foliage selection in GE, so I looked and THERE IS A SELECTION!!... Maybe they watch your videos ;) that made it so much easier
hi there, yes this video is old, in the editor now you can select a foliage and select a limit to texture.. this way you can now very easily remove unwanted stuff all over the map
i did exactly as you have said and im getting this message 'C:\Users\dlbie\Desktop\map' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. Press any key to continue . . .
Hi Donald, ok be careful where you work from. First thing i notice is your path leads to the desktop. The windows desktop is a protected folder, not good to path to that. Always put your items in your map folder. That way they will never be lost if you move your map. Secondly, when you place path in any xml or i3d file never have any \ they must always be forward slashes/ .
@@FarmerBoBonRUclips i fixed it after i found out that the folder name mapstuff was originally map stuff. so that was causing the issue of it not working. found the fix on giants dev forum
Ok, try this, reboot your pc, this will clear caches and ram, then retry, make sure to drop the gdm or grle files on the convert.bat file not on the .exe
@@FarmerBoBonRUclips but i am having another issue i cant figure out because im a noob at modding. and thats im trying to paint ground layer and ge is only letting me either paint grass or forestground, trying to paint gravel for a couple of private farm roads i want to add
