Great content, One thing which I'm not clear is that I have already scheduled Lightning deal for prime day window, Now I can still have option to schedule prime exclusive discount for prime day. As you mentioned will be overlapped or both promotion get disqualified.

I would be very careful ... if they overlap customers can double dip. You can lose a lot of money with stacked promotions!

Awesome guide. Question for you; does Amazon reduce seller fees for Prime Day? They're already taking 30% of my sales price via FBA and now they want me to discount minimum 20% more to participate in Prime Day? If they don't reduce seller fees, then what benefits are there and do you feel that they outweigh the slimmer margins?

No, they do not reduce seller fees. In fact in addition to the extra cost of the discount you will also be paying more for Amazon Ads. The only way you make it the slim profit is by sheer volume. If it doesn't work for you don't do it, or do it selectively as a loss leader, like a gateway product to your brand. Some people also get rid of inventory that's not selling through, although that's a harder sell if the product doesn't have customer interest to start with.

Hey Lean. Thank you for the video. I set up the discount and so far it is not working despite meeting all of the criteria. We even contacted amazon and they mentioned this could be an internal error "glitch".

Amazon's seller tech stack is a complicated, broken mess. It doesn't surprise me you are seeing errors!
