Mahalo nui...really feeling this tonight. 5000 miles away from home and really missing the island of Hawaii. It's only for a month but...missing the Aloha
On my Father's side... I am descended from the Nordic Sami People. They are nomadic and criss-cross Siberia/Northern Scandanavia and Northern Asia following their Reindeer herds. They live in pole tents and are always on the move depending on time of year and food situations. They have a saying that has resonated with me since I first heard it. "My Home lies within me. My Home is in my Heart. I am always Home." I've carried this concept with me as I roam this vast world following my Path in this Life. Peace and Comfort to All.
@@_creighton That is interesting (I have a picture of a Sami tent on my wall) When I was working with Syrian refugees we wrote a song called ‘your home is in my heart’ which is a saying they used a lot.
@@_creighton It is nice, you hear yourself very clearly and apparent a lot of sound comes from the top of the guitar. The front acts like a drum skin and actually doesn’t need a hole at all
Silent Sunday with your wonderful music, thank you Sheldon.🙏🏼
I had the quietest Sunday for a while but a silent Sunday sounds amazing!
@@ecosticks It may sound paradoxical, but your music triggers silence in me...immediately. Ringing silence😊
@@sarahago3292 not at all, that’s exactly the effect of playing it too- the absolute concentration and presence silences everything else.

I'm so intrigued by the acoustics with the sound holes on the upper side, facing the player. It seems to me, it would be a delight to play...
