I absolutely love the Watershed pick from BRT it is amazing in flavor! Love this channel I have learned so much from these videos! Peace and love to all, keep pouring!
Bourbon has so much complexity to me that I often find it difficult to single out notes. Some stick out a lot though. I just opened some RD1 amburana finish and it tastes exactly like baked cinnamon apples lol.
Not entering this giveaway, but I absolutely need to try the watershed next time I’m over! Also, lottery-wise, a great man once said, “if anybody ever gives you a $250,000,000:1 odds, you take that bet.” Bad statistical advice, but what’s another 2 bucks after I bought a $180 Amrut!!!
Not entering. I was getting the same note with several bottles at Watershed including the bottle I gave you. Good to have a name associated to it. I’m curious about what brings that note out when it’s not finished. Happen to be a fan of the note.
Lychee is such a unique flavor - hard to describe but a mix of tropical fruits mixed with bright citrus; very refreshing on a warm day. This video makes me want to buy some lychee juice next time I see it 😎

As always, nice video.
Thanks again!
Great video
Nice review! I had Lychee this past weekend and is a really nice fruit! The pit looks like an acorn!
Good video
My local whiskey bar has dozens if not hundreds of whiskeys from India. Swell, one more giant rabbit hole for me to fall in to. 😂
I remember that bottle share and the first sip of that RB27. My wallet does too 😅
Still haven’t tried any Amrut. Will need to pick one up. I get that Lychee flavor of Michter’s BP rye. Love it.
I will warn you that the only Amrut that has that tasting note is the tripled distilled. The others taste like scotch.
Not the first person to recommend Amrut. Gonna have to find a pour somewhere.
I smelled lychee for the first time Sunday while grocery shopping! Now going to be looking for that note.

My guess it is an ester created by their yeast/fermentation temperature, but that is just a guess.

Assuming you're foregoing lottery spend of 250/yr. you could purchase Red27 once every 4 years. :-) kvb

Cheers!
