Hi Rachel, watching your video just 7 weeks after my dear dad passed away... 😢 he died at midnight on 17th january just 7 weeks ago.... my pain is extremely big, i miss him tremendously and honestly it doesn't look like i will ever feel less sad about losing him 😢 we used to live together, so the house without him feels so empty, strange and sad... but i try to be strengthened by my faith in G-d and pray for him all the time for his soul to rest in peace in the garden of eden (paradise).. he has been fighting cancer for many years and he became very sick, but i always thought a miracle would happen and he would be healed although doctors said he had very little time left 😢😢 i regret all the time i couldn't spend with him before his health getting so bad and for not having done activities that he so much wanted to do with me (like teaching me Spanish).. but i will cherish all my memories with him (which of course will make me sad) and always remember his good advices... so you are right that we never know when life ends and we are never prepared for our loved ones' death even when a fatal illness hits 😢 you are right that we should spend our life being kind, generous and loving...... by the way, i've been following you for few years, remember most of your videos and definitely the issues with your previous apartments... can't believe it's been 2 years.... lots of love from İstanbul, Turkey and can't wait to see your new place 💕

How much for the apartments there in seoul? Or does it depend where you live?
Hi Rachel, Both my parents and all of my grandparents have now passed away! My paternal grandmother died from Covid-19 at 93 years old a few year ago. My father, her son passed away on December 22nd, 2021 a year a half later. He was only a month short of his 75th birthday. He was a widower for over 25 years. My mom passed away from a pulmonary embolism at only 43 years old right in front of me. My Dad passed away from a massive seizure. He struggled with alcoholism. His became so bad, he came down with alcohol induced epilepsy during the last 2.5 years of his life.
Cherish your parents Rachel! Cherish your own life as well! Our time is limited regardless of whether we die at 43 or at 103!
Congratulations, on you and Claire's new larger apartment with your on Studio. I very much look forward to seeing it when I get back to South Korea. Still dealing with my father's estate. Hopefully, I'll have it wrapped up soon, in next few months ahead.
I look forward to eventually meeting you in person Rachel Kim! You seem quite fascinating, charming, intelligent, energetic and optimistic!
