The market is very unstable and you can not tell If it's going bearish or bullish. I advise y'all to forget predictions and start making a good profit now because future valuations are all speculations and guesses.When these reports are bullish take some off to the side lines, when news gets bearish start buying. You might be thinking forex times, this indicator is CME times which is different.

Hey, girl. :) I am listening to your OI explanation and thought to add that we can see what people are actually doing by combining volume + oi. Let's say OI is increasing and volume is green (people are buying) that means that people are opening longs. If OI is increasing and volume is red, that means that people are selling to open positions which means that shorts are being opened... etc. I assume you know this, just adding for completeness. :)
That's why I was thinking that these gray volume bars are hiding information...
I wonder if there is a way to set a threshold for volume like to draw a line so if it crosses above that line we can clearly see... or get an alert.

Actually, if same amount of long and shorts is opened implied by OI - is that really so? I read the logic above on hyblock academy... a bit puzzled... atm.
Yes I teach the OI + Vol combination in my courses, wasn't talking about that on this video, just indicators individually :)

In the newest video a day or so ago, I've heard you said that you hold long perpetual btc contracts and I was thinking about doing the same without SL or with a very low SL (or liquidation level) and am wondering what the down side to that is if the chances to meeting the SL or Lq level are about zero. I am worried about fees as I don't quite get all the fees I am charged for trading btc.p futures. Hope you have a video on it or don't mind commenting.
@@curiouskittycat5977 always use a SL, it's asking for trouble not to. Nothing is guaranteed. You can trade futures to avoid the funding fees.

Great video Annii, I like using open interest mixed with CVD (cumulative volume delta) to see if retail are placing longs and shorts, this info can be found on coinalyze and I have it on a separate screen on my laptop at home.
I use heatmaps, don't need it. But I was just explaining the indicator alone, Im aware there's other tools.
Why does it show the start of the day at 7 am , when the start of the daily os 10am in australia
Start of the CME trading day, nothing to do with the daily candle start time.
