This is a huge problem with YT, but 261 comments of which 80% - 90% are spam scammers comments. It's impossible to gain actual advice and knowledge when unable to communicate properly.
All you need to be consistently profitable is to first quit trying to daytrade, it’s a fallacy. Indicators lag behind price action, so anything it shows is stale data. For them to be somewhat reliable, is to use at a minimum the hourly chart. Learn how to find confluence between price action, MACD, and RSI. Never use more than 5% of your account in one trade, NEVER enter a trade without a firm sell target, and always use a stoploss to mitigate risk. I’ve been swing trading for 9 years, thru 3 Bull cycles, and have made enough to live off of interest and residuals. There’s no easy way, it takes time, effort, and humility.

I'm confused about the part where you said to raise the stop loss to break even once the price reaches break even to increase the strategy's win rate but how do I tell when the price reaches one to one? and also what do you mean by raising the stop loss? move the entire long position projection up to the one-to-one or move just the stop loss?
If you have a 20 pip or point stop you would cut your stop loss to break even at a 20 pip or point gain, hence, 1:1. Also if your trying to ride the trade you can move your stop loss into profit and follow by whatever margin you think, or you have back tested that works best It's a very common money management strategy that can be tested and changed with whatever your strategy works best with, and depending on your risk/reward ratio. Hope this helps

Uh did I miss something? The very beginning of the video says "Works on Cryptocurrency, Stocks and Forex". Then he shows the settings and examples using crypto pairs. I guess it doesn't work on cryptocurrencies then.

1:1 risk to reward means you have the same tp and sl, so 20 pips tp and 20 pips sl.

Pips are the metric for measurement in which the market moves.
Stop loss is to protect your losses, if you put in $100,000, the stop loss basically protects your money. If it goes down to $90,000, the stop loss automatically exits the market and keeps your $90,000 so instead of losing more than $10k, youve kept $90k.
The take profit is the same but reversed. If you think the market will go up in the short term so you buy, and are expecting to make $500, the take profit exits the market once it gets up to $500, so it doesnt go to $500 in your sleep then collapses and now youre in the negative.
Pips are how you set the stop loss and take profit, and you can set them to whatever you like
And tp and sl stand for take profit and stop loss

@@rwatty09 my guess, is to acquire knowledge of each and every indicator that is inside this DIY one, then learn how and which of these indicators play nice together in which Markets and timeframes. There is no way around it, one has to go check out the basic indicators first and see what they do, there is no free pie without some work/learning.

Seriously don’t use these indicators that tell you where to buy in. They mostly don’t work or will lose you money.
Instead learn how to trade with moving averages and rsi. It has alot better win rate then these indicators will ever have.
