As much as I wish I had sent my dog to Brandon for training before bringing him home ruclips.net/user/postUgkx1_veP7CApJK_GWy_TczaMciuG64PqJeU I am so grateful for this down-to-earth, practical guide. His training techniques and tips really work. Thank you as well for dedicating your life's work to rescue dogs, and to rescuing those of us who want the very best for our 4-legged family members.
Training my Himalayan mastiff, it's an Indian breed. He is 4 months old and know how to sit, lay down, spin, shake hand and hi five. It's all because of you Zak. Thank you so much.😊
Just wanted to tell you, your videos have been SO helpful! My wife and I are newly weds and new dog parents. I researched and researched to prepare but nothing was as helpful as this series. Thank you!
Nothing is more heart warming than zak deafening your (had my volume on max) ears due to inertia’s amazing accomplishments. Keep up the good work the both of you
I highly recommend buying the books, my collie pup is nearly 8 months, they were invaluable and they give you comprehensive information on every puppy stage.
Zac, You're a cool trainer and I like the way you ask and reward rather than demand. You do 'sit pretty'...I saw that and thought maybe it would be too difficult for a bigger dog like my full grown 2 year old female Dalmatian. I went from 'sit'...to...'give me a paw'... then 'give me the other paw' to holding the treat slightly back so that she lifted both paws. She got it in about five minutes. She now does this to the command 'sit, up'. I really like these videos. Distraction training is also showing great results.............Thank you so much for your work. My Dalmatian is my third dog so I thought I knew most of this stuff but your methods are just so good that the results are coming faster than I've ever experienced.
10 years of watching your videos and i still love every single one of them. I have always wondered why do i love your videos, i mean you have great quality content but there was something else. Today i realized what it is. You really enjoy your training/ play and its a joy to watch you work with dogs.
Oh she is going to be good at sit pretty! It's looking so good. It's my puppy's favorite trick. He basically taught himself. It's an adorable trick that everyone loves when I'm out in public.
getting an australian shepherd this august and i’ve been training for a while but have never seen or used a method like this, i can’t wait to use what i’ve learned from this series on my new fur baby!!
Hello babe how are you doing I'm Tim Kennedy by-name from San Diego California but I'm currently in Kabul Afghanistan for a highly classified mission and I wish to talk to you if you don't mind
Thank you so much Zack, it’s been 2 years since I watch your videos (and 2 years since my baby husky is in my life). We learned so much from you. I even managed to teach my dog some tricks for a short film!
Hi!!! I have a 4 months cross Eskie Pomeranian and I start to see similarities with Inertia spirited way. I also realise I have somewhat been underrating great response and fast learning to new skills but today I let my pup off leash for the first time in a crowded/wildlife park and had the biggest heartwarming moment to see I could actually trust my puppy to focus and come back to me! I remember few months ago a lot of ppl were being harsh about your training and yet I can rely on your respectful and patience manners to go at your puppy pace and go towards What's Fair or What's Interesting to your dog and not just focus on yourself and what you want her to do regardless her mindset. High praise for Zak! Best tips I have applied from the channel videos : Random/unexpected training time Nice engaging play time Making objects/foods interesting Leave it command Make yourself the most interesting thing in the environment when most needed Hope to get a bit more tips for separation anxiety as my puppy has regressed to whining or crying in the crate when the household is busy doing smth or too quiet.
It so awesome to see her grow! Its so helpful to see the different techniques come into play at different times. Its comforting to know that at times it can be difficult but they can be trained.

Han RT my dog at first would always ignore commands to come inside. I would throw a party basically in a happy loud voice I yelled come and would go down on my knees. When she did come she got some very good treats or I would feed her after coming in.
I like it when Inertia does the stall trick. It’s cool when the strangers see it amazed too! I think you’d be able to like, idk perform a dog trick show, cause i’d totally come!
I just got a new puppy. Maybe you remember me asking you for advice for looking for a pupper? Well she may not be a border collie. But Lulu is a chi-poo. So cute and friendly. She is definitely toy and treat driver and eager to please. So happy that you made your series. It's made everything so much easier with her training.
What I learned from Zak George..treating your dog with respect and learning to communicate can lead to amazing training and a well behaved dog! Also that 5 is basically 6 :)
I love seeing in Inertia's eyes how hard she is thinking. Border Collies are really amazing. Too much energy for me, wouldn't be fair, but I love watching a happy, working (at whatever!) border collie! Wow, haha, the confetti; the human world really is a bizarre land of magic when you look at it from non-human eyes.
Hello babe how are you doing I'm Tim Kennedy by-name from San Diego California but I'm currently in Kabul Afghanistan for a highly classified mission and I wish to talk to you if you don't mind
I adopted my dog, Kai, at 1, a few weeks ago, after my Tanner passed. You helped me train and work through my Tanner's stuff. And I'm going to take what I learned from my time with her and your videos, and apply it all to Kai too. :) One thing about him is that, because he was neglected, found on the street, and verbally surrendered,he has pretty much no exposure. So, I've been thinking of all the places and experiences I want to introduce him to. I never thought of a parade! That's a great idea! Thank you, again,, for helping me out with my dog Zak :)
I am trying to convince my parents to get me a dog, watching your videos shows them that I am serious about training a dog. Thanks your videos are AWESOME!

Zac your training skills are amazing and I'm a huge fan! Like I said in my last comment I'm getting a Border Collie soon and I want to prepared early as this would be my first puppy. I want to know about all the grooming, grooming tools, when to bath your puppy and how, where to buy the best products, when and how long to exercise/train your puppy and all about Border Collie's. Thank you so much Zac!
This is really good video! Helps me a lot with my new border collie 14 weeks old, Zipper. Wondering what kind of dog bed Inertia’s using inside the crate and what size of crate that is?
I really like the way you teach my dog learnt a lot from you thank your You might not know how many people your are helping your are very kind And your dog is the best not better than mine though 😁😁
Training is going so well after watching your clips! Though think seperation anxiety will hit when we all go back to a new norm. ANY tips would be great later on in your series :) thanks for keeping us entertained and finding new ways to interact :)

Hi Zak! Wow, she is really coming along great now! I was wondering if you have a video teaching how to do that stall trick? I didn't know what to call it before, but I tried for a little while to teach my border collie that trick, and the saying your prayers trick, without much success. Thanks! xo
Inertia is already a year old! Time really does fly fast, but Inertia has made lots of progress! If you want to continue to post after she is a little older, I’m definitely all in for it.
My border collie learned this in two minutes. I just lured her around me with the ball while saying come around and then I'd throw it. 5 reps and she was doing it consistently.
Hey Zak my dog is 3 years old and has had a totally unstructured life so far. He was my brothers dog. He is always on the furniture so I am teaching him to stay in his dog bed at night. He doesn’t focus on me unless I have a treat. Any tips on how to train him on these things? (Edit: he also only looks at my hand and won’t do a trick without a treat in my hand)
Your vids have really helped me but could you try to label them with a bit more description? I just don't really have the time to sit through multiple vids when I only need help with one issue 😊

Zack this is great, but the best trick I've ver seen was Inertia doing don't know how you call It on english, flip-flops? You know her head down and turn the whole body, that was amazing!!!
I taught my border collie Jax to sit pretty (he’s the same age as Inertia, just barely 9 months) and I call it T-Rex cause he flails his little arms 😂 I’m also working on catching a frisbee more consistantly

Ive heard they are hard to take care of because they are very energetic and need lots of walks or they will get frustrated. I am willing to put work into training him/her.
