Keep up the good job so we can keep up with the changes in the language. In the past, In some cultures some people would choose a wife since the day she is born she would be spoken for somebody and almost everyone knows it and would avoid asking for her hand when she gets older to stay away from trouble. And sometimes when the girl gets older she also starts to like the same person she has be spoken for so she speaks the same language

    • @bobsshortenglishlessons

I'm always on the lookout for phrases that native English speakers use when I'm talking to them, and then I write them down quickly so I can make a lesson about. It has left me thinking that English is a bit of a strange language! 🌳😎🐦
