Thank you Dear Teacher!! It's up to me if one day i'm going to travel to Canada!!(Not exactly...but ...yeah...) Many people here in Greece as well as around the world are up in arms with all those restrictions...
Hi teacher! I really like this! It's so amazing to learn short sentences. I remind of the chunks of languages that help us understand faster inglês and it gets the fluency. Congrats!
Hello Bob , the other day I was toying around with the idea of learning English phrases and I was like ,is it too late to do it? then I thought it is never too late to learn something ,it's up to me to go ahead with or not. Thanks Bob for such wonderful short videos !!
What a beautiful snow😍absolutely you feel lucky and you aren’t up in arm because i have watched previous videos, and i know you love winter and sowing weather. Luckily I was born in Dec too😃, so everything is up to me 😄except my gifts. Thanks for your lessons 🙌🏻🌷
I was up in arms when youtube recommended videos appears to me till i got your channel ! It’s really helped me to develop my language Thank you so much mr bob 😄😄
Thanks Bob! My cat Megabyte (technically mine) also doesn't like me very much, and it's mutual. He pays me a bit (not a byte or megabyte) of attention only in the morning when I feed him. Although, he never allows my duty to be slipped my mind.😎
I'm up in arms because I'm very late on watching your videos, but I know it's up to me making time to study English. Anyways, I loved the story about the kitten in the other video. I love cats. I have two cats.
Whether I subscribe Bob’s channel or not, It’s up to me! Sorry Bob, it was a joke. I already subscribe your channel and click thumbs up button on every single video🤣 thank you so much to upload these helpful videos. And I have one question, what does ‘would’ mean in normal sentences? I saw ‘would + verb’ phrases a lot on your videos, but I can’t understand what it means. Pls help me teacher🙏
It can mean a few things. Here are some examples: 1) If I were you I would watch a video every day to learn English. - This means you should do it. 2) Would you mind if I teach you something - I am asking permission in a polite way. 3) I would like a coffee and a donut please. - I am ordering something in a polite way. There is a lot to it, the above is just a beginning of an explanation! I hope that helps! ❄🌨😎
It is very informal (somewhat crude) and means someone is very very bold and courageous. Balls refer to a part of the male anatomy. I let you figure that out. ⛄❄😎
Hello Bob, I'm new in your chaine, I liked your method to deliver the informations. It's so amazing to wach your video. Actually, I enjoyed them. Now, my question is about pronunciation. How to improve my skills to be understood Thank you in advance and have a great week
There are two things you can do: 1) Listen to a video, pause the video, and try to pronounce things like the speaker. 2) Record yourself and listen to it and learn to find the things you are saying slightly wrong. ⛄❄😎
Hey Bob, what is the proper way of ending a class in English? I hear some people saying 'that's been it' to say it's finished in some youtube videos. Is it appropriate to say the same thing in real and virtual classes?
Understood clearly enough but needed more repitation to speak like you sir. Neeeed more speaking practice for myself to speak like you. Your accent really good enough to hear and even if you speak fast though understand you well sir.
I am up in arms about what has been happening in the hospitals in our province, but there is nothing much I can do about the crisis all across the province.
Thank you very much. I have a question about it: why do you use WHO and THAT in these two sentences? I supposed to use only WHO. 1) She's the one WHO spends time with the cat 2) I'm not the one THAT plays with the cats every day. Thanks in advance.

Cats certainly are different than dogs. Dogs are like servants. Cats are like kings and queens. ⛄❄😎

Hi Bob! Does the phrase ” up in arms” also has a meaning of ”fighting against what infuriated you ” besides just being upset?
I think many people are up in arms about the pandemic at the moment. And it's up to each person whether to get stressed or believe in the better.
Patience is all that is required! ⛄❄😎 Someday this will all be over.
I love cool wether
I do too. I even like walking in it. ⛄❄😎 Yesterday I went for a walk and got wet feet. Oh well. That's the price you pay for walking in the snow/rain!
I'm student I'm 21years old l study in pharmacy I want to come to Canada that is target of my life

It's up to learners to take charge of their learning, however, teachers can provide guidance and direction to stay on track of learning English.
For sure. I can make a million lessons, but it's up to the learner to decide to watch and learn! (Awesome use of the phrase Neeraj!) 😎

We leave it up to you for the next phrase 😎 although I'd recommend the phrase "after all"
Let me think about that one. I have to check if I've done it before. ⛄❄😎
Sir what does this phrase mean "balls of steals" ?
It is very informal (somewhat crude) and means someone is very very bold and courageous. Balls refer to a part of the male anatomy. I let you figure that out. ⛄❄😎

I say any and all of the following:
That's it for today.
That's a wrap.
That's it folks.
Ok, we're done everything we needed to get done today.
⛄❄😎
@@bobsshortenglishlessons It's good that I found this. I think this can be used at work too (just use "colleagues" instead of "folks"). Thank you Bob!

Hello,Mr Bob. Thank You for the lesson. I'm not fully understand this frases becouse have not examples how it uses in sentences.
It's up to me if I get up in arms because I don't have the money to pay for college. Is that right?
It really is your choice whether you get upset or not, so, yes, that's right! ⛄❄😎

Bob, is it rude to call you by "teacher"? I was told that the right way to call our teaches is by Mr/Mrs plus their surname.
You can call me teacher. I don't consider it rude. In a classroom though you are correct, you would use Mr./Mrs./Ms. and their last name. ⛄❄😎
