Seeing how they tuck everything under the car is a thing of beauty. You touch on points that are important to the every day driver. And, when you throw in your night views that’s the entire package. I got the very same Camry except I went with the black leather interior. Love this car, my first hybrid Toyota. Mine out the door was just over $41k plus tax and title.
Thx for sharing sticker Mike. Highest TSP for a 2025 Camry I’ve ever seen ($44,119). Maybe your next video could be how to negotiate lower out the door price. Sticker price in stratosphere!
The negotiations are not hard and don’t need a special video, I just bought one. I got to talk to the manager and I pointed on the printout he brought and told him what I was willing to pay, not MSRP. I was nice and respectful and told him I don’t need the car and that I could return in 6-12 months and he could sell it to someone who was willing to pay full MSRP; I told him I had excellent credit and would finance with Toyota and buy GAP coverage. He agreed and gave me window tint that I asked for, a trunk cargo organizer, and the rubber all weather floor mats. You just have to ask for a discount and be willing to walk away. The dealer may say No and they may say yes. Cars are commodities and you can always go elsewhere for it just like toilet paper.
@@gilbrook I will verify and get you the answer in a few hours. I know the glove box has an LED bulb which i appreciate because my newer Mazda CX5 does not so if you ever wonder about the Camry glove box I can report that. But the trunk, I want to say is LED. I’ll go look after my shower. Let me know what else you’d like to know. There are some cheap feeling parts but overall the car is good. I do miss the power folding outside mirrors that even my $34k 2021 Mazda CX5 has. My Toyota was $39,210. I did negotiate a lower price as I mentioned. But I wanted you to know what the MSRP was, there was also a $1495.00 addendum which I told them was a non starter for me and they didn’t flinch on removing that from the sale price.

Toyota is ridiculous. Once you get the Premium Package that offers a lot of options that were previously included, the OTD I priced is 45k. It's a Camry!
I bought a 2025 Camry XSE AWD today and with the Toyota app you can start the car from your smart phone. So you don't have to wait to get inside the car to start it and then wait for the AC to turn on. At a minimum, if you start the car from your phone, most likely by the time you walk to your car, the AC will be running. Just a heads up since you mentioned in the video how it takes a little bit for the AC to turn on once you start the car.

21:50 Those systems are passive now, but in the future, it won't remain passive. It's already a law that was passed as a drunk driving or impaired driving prevention. The law gives NHTSA pretty wide freedom to craft rules for impaired driving prevention. Biden administration passed it inside that Infrastructure Investment bill back in November 2021, all new 2026 or later vehicles will be required to have the equipment/systems in place for disabling the vehicle. Whether the next administration repeals that requirement is anyone's guess. Legacy media has been gaslighting the public ever since the law was passed, saying that our fear of a vehicle kill switch is unfounded, when that is exactly what is written into the law. "technology should be equipped to passively monitor a driver’s behavior or blood alcohol concentration, as well as prevent or limit motor vehicle operation if the driver is impaired." That quote is from an AP article trying to debunk people's fears. Funny enough, "prevent or limit motor vehicle operation if an impairment is detected;" is the exact wording used by the government.
These type of systems do not work well and will give false positives. Cars have trouble accurately reading street signs, auto-high beams are usually problematic, phantom breaking is an issue with adaptive cruise control... basically people will be blocked from going to work because the car thinks their drunk when they are not. Hopefully this mandate will get deleted.
Memory seats are not needed if you are the only one driving the car. I live alone and have never used the memory seat settings in my 2013 Acura TSX. I would have preferred it to be a separate option so that I could use the money saved for something that would be a benefit to me like heated side mirrors.
