My father had one he had all the accessories and really liked it. For my part it was over priced and more trouble than it was worth. I bought parts for it at the dealership and they were proud of thier parts. As soon as he died that was the first thing we got rid of.

Very cool! I wonder what 8 lead transmission means though? I have a 1975 546 with the snow cannon and 30" bush hog deck and mostly use it in the summer to cut my horse pasture weeds. My old non-steering sulky is ok, but I really like that steering sulky you show here. I see the machine also has a steering brake but it doesn't look like you used it at all, just the sulky steering wheel?

I have a 1997 12 hp Koler powered. When I bought mine the 16 hp was a Briggs and Straten 2cyl V . I have a 36 inch 2 stage snow blower a 42 inch sickel bar and a rotery tiller

Grandparents mowed with two of these for over 50 years. I’m sure they’d been rebuilt a few times. They look aweful to use.
