Consider the fact that Project L is set to be a tag fighter and prepare for good Yasuo players catching both opponents during a tag/assist in whirlwind into Super for crazy outplays
I 100% agree with this kit! Windwall should be a short window of opportunity for him to close the gap against zoners, though it SHOULDN'T be his assist cause that could be annoying if spammable. The command dash and command normals are great ideas too!
Yea I really think Windwall almost works BETTER for a fighting game in some ways, but agreed assist version could be way too much tho. And thanks brother!
in league, last breath is used to continue pressure (not as a finisher), and does buff him for a while after cast given that, his ult could maybe act not as a finisher but as an extender/install (kinda like on-hit vtrigger combo) that would give unlimited wind meter or whatevs
Idk why but I lowkey want Kai'sa in the game because I think should would be a nice melee/range mixed fighter. Like I can imagine her q being a midair combo extender if she was able to knock somebody up. And although in the game she's a bit slow she's been shown to be very agile in comics and cinematics so a speedy assassin type fighter would fit her I think.
Aight, riding off the wave of hype that is Newdyr- put him in project L. He's literally already a stance character... there's really not much to change, give him a metre which he charges from switching stances and hitting enemies (like league) and then let him recast his stances for an install super powered stance (like league). I dunno what to say, he's already a fighting game character basically. If that was too uncreative for you, let's add a weird one. I like Taric, I play him a lot and I think he could do some weird shiz in a fighting game. Firstly, make his ult a short-time install with tons of armour on all his moves, no chip dmg, extra dmg for his own moves and such. Next, how will his tether work? You could make it so that if he switches in the middle of an animation his ally keeps the momentum and buffs from his moves. His Q gives two empowered hits after a heal, heals in fighting games aren't exactly the best BUT, we can make it a rekka series that, if used as a confirm after a super gives him two hits of armour or something. His E would work similarly as a stun that he charges up and if you get caught, you get stunned BUT, now he can attack while charging it (for reduced dmg) and the stun won't go off if you block it. This forces your opponent to block and while I imagine this wouldn't be so helpful for taric himself as the most he'd get is a weak throw, his teammate would love this. I imagine he could use the move to make his opponent block then switch to say Darius. This would leave his E there though now it only provided a small slow while Darius gets to have his full power grab if you don't parry or whatever it in time. Make his assist that he gives his ally 1 hit of armour or something like that. This results in what is likely a difficult playstyle of a bruiser constantly slipping up his opponents with whether he will switch or not as I still want Taric to be able to lay on the hurt if you read wrong.
Yea Udyr as a stance character is one I wanted to do before even so now would be the best time to make him happen for sure - plus it just would be dope. But Taric is a wild one, I like it! need more oddballs/ not just the poster children for sure!
I just feel that i have seen yasuo enough in my life time and i would prefer someone else, but that might be because i played LoL when he was considered very strong and very played
Thats fair, and I know there is a pretty big stigma around him in LoL gameplay wise but I do think aesthetically even functionally he could be a pretty cool fight game character! But hey I could definitely be wrong and he end up being a super divisive champ all over again lol
The League roster probably feels 10x cooler to someone who never touched League because they can purely appreciate the character design without having biases from the gameplay. Like they can look at a champion at go "wow this one looks sick" without thinking "fuck this fucking cancer holy fucking shit"

@@BruiserMinion Yeah it is. Your blocking is connected to it. So you only start taking chip damage once it fully runs out. I feel it going to make the game really fun with all the defence opposition your given.

Oh yea, they went above and beyond for sure. I'll have a video out probably today with some opinions on the game - but one thing I will say is Yasuo was my favorite character to play for sure. He had a lot going on and was a TON of fun!
You don't have to ask, he's already in the game, he's so much in the game that it wouldn't surprise me if they made him the stock shoto because every new player to fighting games would want to play their favorite champion and if he was even the slightest bit complicated they might ragequit fighting games entirely, so making him the easiest character would only make sense from that perspective, in fact unless the roster is close to the 24 character mark I think he'll be the last Ionia champion in the base roster since every single goshdarn champion in that weeb hellscape aside from Kennen, Karma, Ivern and Lillia would fit perfectly for a fighting game and I don't think anyone wants the game to just be Ionia Fighter (+ the other regions that don't matter).
Annie is a good one! Check out the character Enchantress from DNF Duel if you haven't seen her - she's definitely got some Anne vibes! And as for Ruined King I dont think you need to know about LoL Lore to enjoy it but it's primarily about Viego coming back and a party of champions going out to stop him so if you wanted to check out his lore first, then the party members are MF, Braum, illoai, Pyke, Yasuo and Ahri but the games does a good job of introducing them with a little backstory so you dont need to know much going into playing it!
Don't think this is a popular opinion but I'm VERY much under the impression that Rakan has the potential to be a really damn slick fighter in Project L. Would love to see your interpretation of him in a future video!
I think he could be as well! I've had people pitch me the idea of him and Xayah being included together as one character and I think that would actually be really cool

@@BruiserMinion Honestly I think Poppy would be the best choice for a Yordle, implementing her ultimate's knockback mechanic for combos as well as her W's anti dash, Even her E to pin when in corner. Passive could also be used giving her a zoning tool !

He would just be berserker (haven't seen much strive so that's all i got) from strive with less particles and the character to punish you for whiffing. Just a thought

I feel like they could even change the wind wall to work like a slow moving projectile that you could follow behind to close the gap to your enemy.
