My favorite and worst, he is so caring but his inability to follow instructions fucked their world up, I don't blame Shadow for being mad at him.
Yeah that's my problem with this portrayal as well. I get Sonic was meant to be like a Rebel Teen, but there was more to him than just that.
At least during the story Sonic is slowing down a little and looking back and learning.
Like with how he dealt with the jungle situation by recalling what Amy wanted to tell him.
@@dizzyheads in short - Character Development
Shadow is justified to be angry at the end of the season, but nobody talks about how he woke up and chose murder at the beginning.
@@andrewgreeb916 he literally sent a giant shock wave that could have hurt so many people that time it’s still justified for shadow to be pissed
While I like Sonic in prime I can't see it as the same Sonic from the games because in prime Sonic is a literal character with a character arc while in the games Sonic is supposed to be a metaphorical/flat character that doesn't change himself but does change the world around him
That's true, I guess in my experience, with the games I've played, they could convey how Sonic is a force of change better. It is strange to me how this Sonic is supposed to be the same one canonical to previous games.
guess people haven't played Black Knight, huh.
@@angeihd yeah sorry I don't have a wii, though I don't remember sonic having a character arc in Sonic and the black knight
@Fathirboi Entertainment having a character arc doesn't make a character good. Sonic is kinda stupid here
@@TheEmperorRaidou Agreed. Black Knight Sonic felt more up my alleyway.
I love Sonic’s portrayal in Prime. He’s smart, cocky, willing to put his life in the line to help others but he gets tricked and beaten up a lot. If Sonic is willing to put a side his let the speed do the talking attitude he could face any enemy with style and avoid conflict that starts by him. I would have say alongside Sonic the show’s central side characters are Nine and Shadow. These characters are focused on more cause they want to fix the universe while everyone just stays where they are. So I feel Nine and Shadow will be teaming up with protagonist, Sonic and will be trying to save their home worlds and Nine will soon be able to create his own new and nice reality. Shadow though, needs to stop punching Sonic.. he’s been through hell for like 8 episodes.
I agree
Shadow literally only could watch while their world was blown apart. Sonic always figured it still be there.
Who’s gone through hell again?
@@Norinia BOTH OF THEM. stop comparing pain when they both went through horrible stuff THEY BOTH witness their world end, op is just saying that sonic been physically beat up enough that's all 😭
I think Nine might be the streotypical fox, at least for a while. Somewhat double faced. Then he will side with Sonic.
Shadow here seems more caring and trusthworty even if he is still, well, Shadow.
shadow did nothing wrong
Honestly, I loved Sonic's portrayal on this show. If there's one thing i'd have to complain about him, it would be how in episode 3 he was still trying to convince the Scavengers (alt Tails, Big, Knuckles and Rouge) that they are friends despite them not knowing him, but even then, it was only in that episode.
Tbf he wasn’t aware he was in a different world yet.
@@fackyoutube8452 and that’s my only real flaw with Prime Sonic. It takes him awhile to catch on to things
See but the thing is
Sonic believes that they are still his friends and rather than leaving small shards of his friends fighting amongst each other he would rather help them.
I don't really see them as alternate versions completely but rather just like the paradox prism, They are "Shattered" pieces of themselves with 1 part of their character being more dominant than the other in each shatterverse
Yeah, despite how fast he is, he can be a little slow on the uptake at points. Even before episode three, he still expected the others to know him despite how obviously different things were.
I mean, personally, Prime Sonic is not really my favorite portrayal of Sonic.
Mainly because of how oblivious to emotions he feels most of the time, as well as his kinda clumsy/dumb/immature behaviour sometimes.
Although, this could be probably because of me usually liking to see the blue blur as his Black Knight portrayal.
Adventure Sonic was the best portrayal of Sonic imo
@@thefastcommenter7774 for me it was black knight
@@Banana807 he's.. Sorta the same in Adventure and Black knight, even his theme from Adventure 1 plays for him during the final fight against Merlina. He's an easy going cocky guy with a strong sense of justice and does snarky one liners in a funny and most appropriate way. He knows when to get serious and to not take things lightlli thats why Adventure-Black knight is my favorite sonic of Any sonic. This Show shows Sonic as an idiot half the time who can't tell or decide being serious or taking it lightly is the correct time. He looks like a serious pushover and wimp on how much he gets beat up in this show and effortlessly, he was even with shadow in the games and here he has to outsmart shadow just to land a good hit on him.
Prime Sonic is not my sonic
@@SonicAdventureEnjoyerI agree, but apparently his character is gonna develop.
after watching season two now that is has come out, i would have to say that character development was a big thing with sonic. especially with how in the final episode he takes the time to see nine as his own person and not just the sidekick that he has grown to be used to following his every move without questioning things.
he also feels a sense of genuine guilt for what he has caused and has a true motivation to fix things now that he has seen what ghost hill is like.
overall season 2 had the most character depth i have ever seen in a show meant for kids.
My favorite renditions of Sonic were always the ones voiced by Jason Griffith, as well as the one from the movies, in which Sonic is allowed to be laid back and has a healthy dose of kindness, appreciation for others and an actual attention span laced into his personality. Seeing a series which puts Sonic's current overconfident, air-headed and sometimes mean personality from the more recent games as a starting point and setting him up to evolve into the personality of the Jason Griffith games was a sweet spot of characterization that I've been wanting to see for a long time
this series is getting so damn deep and people keep making it better sheesh
I really like the idea of a character going into different universes. Or multiple people going into different universes. I think that's why I like Sonic Prime so much. Its such a cool show.
This is why Sonic Prime is my favorite Sonic show. I'm not constantly complaining about Sonic's or Shadow's personalities.
I could write whole Essay but all I’ll say is.
No, Black Knight has the Perfect Sonic Portrayal.
@Kian x's portrayal of sonic was pretty weak. He was just a plot device who just showed up at the end to save everyone, hes pretty distant from everyone as well. Black knight, adventure 2 and frontiers characterised him the best imo
He's introverted
@Kian Dont forget sonic unleashed
@Kian as much as I love unleashed, i whole heartedly agree. Black knight and X are my favorite portrayals of Sonic as i felt they got him accurate to a tea. Secret rings too just like you said
I agree with this
And one thing for Sonic to remember, and that is being a hero isn’t about taking care of yourself. It’s about taking responsibility for other people. 🙂
Character development is always a good thing
Character doesnt always need it
Except when you regress a character and then force them through the same development they have achieved already…
@@naniyotakahe never had any. His character was great from the start.
@@naniyotaka what development is that?
Breathed the biggest sigh of relief when I saw it was nothing like Boom, like that show had its moments but finally Prime is like some decent fucking food, actually taking its characters and story seriously and being up front with the action and animation despite being for a younger audience it never feels too dumbed down.
Sonic Prime is my favorite representation of him so far
sonic 06 didn't get sonic wrong it's the plot but the game that got sonic wrong is sonic colors literally making a joke-man
This is even MORE CORRECT of an analysis of Sonic Prime and Sonic (and how great this combo is) with the release of Season 2.... I would love to see if you cover the next season and how everything you stated here and that happened in Season 2 led to the finale basically being inevitable! 🤩
How so more correct?
I think prime and frontier sonics are best so far because we're seeing growth in both sonic and Tails characters. (I also liked Tails from frontier and prime) honestly having so many elements in this show alone is making it so much more wholesome.
Confident + determined = makes it a hero
sonic is soooooooooooooooo inmature during sonic prime
I just like sonic all together
I could just imagine a sonic game that is kind of like sonic prime where sonic goes to different universes I could probably play like a frontiers with it being open zone and each open zone would be a different universe
I remember seeing a post on (ok im going to out mysef here) tumblr talking about how accurately they portrayed sonic as neurodivergent and how people also hated him bc of those annoying traits that comes with it even tho its something fans have wanted
sonic x is my fave version of him tho
My only problem with Prime Sonic is that he is considered to be the same Sonic as the one from the games, and that makes it kinda inconsistent with the timeline as from what I can tell, the events of SA2 happened (since there's Shadow) and it's a least just before Colors (with the presence of Orbot and Cubot), if not later, which makes his character arc regress as he seems more like his younger self than his more mature self that we have today. But if I'm honest, the Meta era was kinda written like that as well, so I guess I could see it happen in canon, but it's just kinda weird that they want this Sonic to be canon when he seems much less wiser than how he is today, while still being portrayed as Modern Sonic.
Sonic started as imperfect that’s good thing and his internal plot of his character
I dissagre with This. Yes Sonic is a static characther but i dont like the idea of him getting arks. If you look at most Sonic games like the Rush games, The storybook games, Sonic 2, Sonic Unleashed. Sonic in some ways is an metaphor. He does What he Think is right and the stuff he wants are good. He hates sadness, he hates bullies, he hates when people are getting picked on etc. You Can see that in Unleashed, the reason why Sonic does not became very negative when it night, is because his pure heart, Sonic fights against evil and sadness and that What the good of people does. He helps people who has problems and is trying to make Them love themself (Tails for an exampel) in Sonic & the Black Knight when Sonic says to merlina that every world has it end. That message is not just to merlina, it also a message to us The audience. Giving Sonic an characther ark, making him more fleshed out, making Sonic cry. Would take away everything Sonic is. Sonic Prime is nothing like that, he has arks, he get sad, etc. That not Sonic, that smokey
I forgot to mention something, While Prime Sonic is an diffrent characther, he does have some elements of “The original Sonic” You Can see that in episode 5 where the message to Thorn is also the message to us. Not to mention the story has some enviormentel themes in Them, kinda like the classic games. So the “He is nothing like Sonic” is not entirely true though. Not to mention that the show is also trying to do something diffrent than the games, so Im fine with it i guess
Wow really interesting angle on sonic tbh
You are totally correct my dode
Finally an opinion video that isn't a 30 minutes long thesis. I 100% agree with you, this may be the best Sonic series since Sonic X
Sonic 06:Yeah Can You Let Me Enjoy My Life Too?
I grew up on Fleetway Sonic and Prime feels closer to that in a way.
we dont talk about sonic 06 no more
Sonic is meant to be a flat character. Sonic himself is meant to be a symbol, force of nature, that represents the good in the world and how that good influences others. Which shows in how he influences others. Think of him as like a Goku type of character.
Even still, Prime tried to give Sonic flaws but they don't necessarily work in his favor since they try to make him more childish and idiotic even though he's supposedly the same as Game Sonic. Personally, I'd prefer if his flaws were about how he went about helping his antagonists because not everyone will respond to his message in the way he'd hope. So think IDW Sonic and Surge but it'll actually go somewhere.
I don't think taking away the core aspects and drive of his character, which is his compassion for the world and his friends, is how you make Sonic a flawed character because that heart of gold makes Sonic, Sonic. It's like if you took Batman's moral code away from him.
I think challenging Sonic's code and his methods and ideals would've been a much better way to make Sonic a character that can grow without having to deconstruct him to the point he becomes insufferable and childish.
Yeah, I made this video before they confirmed that this version of Sonic is the same one from the video games. I find it odd how they decided to portray Sonic in this manner if supposedly this is the same Sonic from games like Frontiers or SA2. As I've stated in my video, I think having static characters can work, but from my experience, playing the games I've played, I wonder if there was a better way of showing the positive impact Sonic can have on the world and others. I would have much preferred if Prime Sonic had his own continuity, that way his flaws make more sense, in comparison to him regressing as a character.
I've been struggling to connect this Sonic with game Sonic and they're just too different. Which makes me kinda sad because I like the show but I want to see a more mature Sonic like in Frontiers. The only way I can dismiss the way he is portrayed is if I think about it like Sonic is telling this story in a way that kids can understand and relate to. As it does have him narrating and Shadow breaks the 4th wall to interject at one point, which made me come to the conclusion that Sonic is telling the story but Shadow is throwing a few things in because he had a different perspective on everything. It would make sense for Shadow to see him as way more hyperactive, immature, unskilled, and dumber than he actually is. Or he's just teasing him lol.
he isnt an idiot but he just make mistakes if sonic was a perfect character with no messups thats boring
@@Ranni I would argue that Sonic does change his world for the better. Sonic isn’t a dynamic character. It’s his world. He influences Tails and Amy to be stronger and more independent. He influences Blaze and Knuckles to be less introverted and to open up to others. In Sonic and the Black Knight, he helps comfort Merlina after defeating her, and explains the importance of death after defeating her. So I would argue Sonic is a very well written static character that does properly change his world for the better usually.
@@juliabonavita4731 No. It gives other characters time to grow and develop by using him as inspiration. Sonic is meant to influence the world and characters around him and for the most part he’s been a very well written in that regard. Think about characters like Goku specifically in Z and Superman, they’re flat characters and people still love them. Characters don’t always have to have some deep flaw to make them interesting especially if it’s just going to make them look incompetent and insufferable.
They made sonic alot more flawed in this series which i really love so much
As cool as sonic prime is, I personally prefer Archie, he’s cocky, cool, arrogant, yet witty and even egotistical at certain times, this fight against his arrogance and ego with his heroism is what sets him apart from the other iterations, he’s not always looking to help the villains out when they need help, nah, if he can, he”ll make sure they know that they’re worth nothing, and that he’s the real deal.
This Sonic is different than others, but he definitely isn’t bad
I mean, Not gonna lie, I love the portrayal of sonic compared to Sonic movies and Sonic Past series. I want that character development could be Iconic heroic, funny, easygoing and Less mature because it'll be great opportunity that we missed in adventure days or somehow with sonic x which I know modern sonic has been grown heroic as a character but unless make the character less mature and funny with different balance in my opinion just like how movie sonic and prime sonic got right
While I like sonics flat character arc in the game, I do like his portrayal in prime, unleashed has my favourite of his character writing but he’s pretty good in prime
Though, sonic frontiers is a close second
I've seen people give negative reviews of Sonic Prime because they say Sonic's personality is horrible. That he's a huge jerk. But that's the whole point of the show. And like you pointed out before, it's character development. The show is based on his character development. It's so refreshing to have a Sonic TV show focused more on Sonic's character development (I feel like I've said those two words too much) rather than having it constantly filled with action scenes all the time (I'm aware Sonic Prime has action scenes, but I mean that it's not the only thing that it has).
I went into the show with an open mind. I wasn't too worried about it from trailers and such. And I had gotten into the mindset of, "If I can handle Sonic Boom, I can handle anything." It was way better than I thought. It's almost at Sonic X level for me, and that's speaking a lot because Sonic X is my favorite Sonic show. I think Shadow in Prime made it better to watch. And they have a really good cast too. I think it's underrated as heck, and I hate that I don't see much content about the show on youtube.
People have an issue with the characterization because they want to push this to be canon. If this is the same Sonic as game Sonic, then there shouldnt be any character arc at all.
@@Tr4yst3r I get the idea in my head that each Sonic is separate from the other (the Sonic in the games will always be the same). I don't care if the show is canon or not. I like seeing new ideas of everybody's different relationships and portrayals (as long as it's not like Boom!Knuckles different). I guess I'm just more open to possibilities regarding Sonic than a lot of people.
I dunno, I reckon they can have character development without making fun of the beloved hero, like they do in the 2020 and 2022 movies as apposed to Sonic Prime. And one of Sonics main things, is he lightens the mood by making fun of Doctor Eggman, which helps inspire people to rise above despair, even that it could be fun not just hopeful, so making fun of him kinda undermines one of the primary and more important messages of Sonic. I love other things about Sonic Prime, probably most stuff, but I they may have failed miserably with this one. It's good to show that he can be reckless and immature, but not in a way, or to a degree, that makes a joke/fool out of him.
Aged like milk
wait are those jordans on sonic
I HATE it when one character is always right or always wrong. This is why I like this version of Sonic.
his reliance on TAILS NO his reliance on NINE
some of us understand about it. that's because Sonic made a mistake without warnings, but that doesn't mean it's all Sonic's fault. Some needs to leave Sonic alone😠
Tails said be careful and sonic didn't listen, so the prism being shattered was all Sonics fault.
@Buraanbur media and more yes, well, not really, but We can understand that is true that is sonic's fault but not completely because don't you know if sonic didn't stop eggman from taking the paradox prism then what will happen if eggman successful taking the paradox prism or if sonic have time to aimed for the arm and then it's torso that would be the case that sonic defeated dr. eggman so easily.
Well eggman could make a better, faster, stronger, improved and even gets sonic hurt, and plus, his friends could beat egg man up. But if egg man won, sonic could try to fix the world plus at S3 ep 8, he could rule the eggman Empire. But it won't be an easy task and imagine he finally defeats egg man at the Last season.
1.) "Sonic, we don't know what the prism is capable of. Be careful."
Proof tails warned him and sonic was too naive so he didn't listen, and fragmented his world.
2.) If Egg man won, he would obviously take out sonic and his friends first. So sonic would DIE.
3.) If eggman lost, he could make metal sonic more useful again because he was a pretty good rival and too bad we see him now as a joke.
So in conclusion, it's sonic' s whole fault (look at reason 1.) That he fragmented his world, plus if sonic made a "mistake" of shattering the whole universe,it's really NOT a mistake.
@Buraanbur media and more Yes, I get what you mean now, but still, it's not the point that you may not get. yes, it is concerned that it's all Sonic's fault, but I won't blame him for what he has done is wrong.. I'd rather be disappointed at sonic while I'm seems to understanding about it...
0:25 this is what got me to subscribe
i honestly think that making him the wrong one wans't the best ideia because usually the story of Sonic focus more on the development of the others characters and how Sonic influences them. But i also think that it's good for them to explore a little of his flaws. I just thoutgh he's just TOO immature. Like, i know it's a show made especially for kids, but it ANNOYS me. I watched in the portuguese dub (i'm from Brasil) and i hated it (like i said: too immature), but i think i'm willing to give a chance for the english dub.
Dude your fake troll is my favorite part of your sonic videos.
Mine too tbh lol
AT LEAST THEY GOT HIS EYES RIGHT
It’s also confirmed sonic prime is canon to the main franchise in a way
I've heard that too! Would be interesting to see how this will play out!
@@Ranni I may have an idea so have you watch the cuphead show and gotten to the end of it well if you haven’t spoiler alert at the end of the series we got the devils casino from the game maybe something similar will happen like that at the end of sonic prime
Oh yeah I should check out the cuphead show!
@@Ranni oh also the producers and voice actor for sonic in prime would like to add more sonic characters
Canon but an alternative timeline within
Character development is important and I appreciate them trying to add depth to Sonic's character but, the way they're doing it is something I don't like. Sonic is INSUFFERABLE in this show and is just straight up annoying, they dialed it up to 100%. He can't seem to shut up, and it's like everyone around him is trying to keep him out of trouble. I just feel like they're going too overboard with how incompetent he is. I'm used to him acting like Bugs Bunny, he annoys his enemies, reckless but still clever, and is very laid back, likes to take it easy and do things at his own pace. This however....yeah it's too much of a regression in my opinion.
You don’t understand the problem sonic is a flat character.
He’s not supposed to have character development or arc this goes against his gaming counterpart.
If you wanna know why I’m discuss this because this is canon to the games plus prime sonic is nothing game sonic at all which again go against his game counterpart
worst Sonic ever, more like Punchbag the Hedgehog
Honestly, the only things I didn’t like about Sonic in this show, is how weak they made him, he gets bodied so many time in this show, and if this show is actually canon, THEN WHY IS SONIC SO BRASH AND ARROGANT, this show is suppose to take place some months in the future, so we can assume that Sonic Prime takes place after Frontiers which… WHY?!?!
Listen, I know Sonic’s attitude is something that defines his character, but we’ve seen throughout the games that he is still arrogant and cocky, but it was dialed down a bit. Why? To show that Sonic was maturing, growing throughout all of his adventures, AND LITERALLY IN THE FIRST EPISODE, THIS SHOW CONTRADICTS ALL OF THAT ARE YOU KIDDING ME…
Other than that little tangent, I enjoyed Sonic in the show. 😊
Yeah, the whole this Sonic is the canon Sonic from the games makes his behavior strange. In my opinion, it would've been better if they made the Prime universe its own continuity.
Yeah this feels like it would be set before 06 but after shadow
The fact that this show is considered cannon is absolutely wild to me. You'd think a guy who was running fades for the entirety of sonic frontiers wouldn't have this much trouble.
And the SPINDASH!!!❤️❤️😩😩👌
This was so wrong it actually hurts 90% of anything In Prime is contradicted by the Games for being based on the games they don't follow them very well
Sonic prime did surprise me with how good it is because I thought it might be cringe like boom
Yeah, I was like wow this show is decent lol!
But i like sonics new gloves and shoes
i have only seen 2 vids but i know i will love you're chanel

I am trying to become a sonic fan and I have yet to find sonic media that I really really like. But then I watched Sonic Prime last night and I am hooked. Watched all 8 episodes and I think Nine is a big favorite of mine.
Check out the Sonic OVA. But watch it in japanese
To summarize this video,
Sonic finally has character development!
What Character development?
in all honesty sonic the hedgehog has always been a far better franchise outside of the game's
Everybody gangsta until they make a secret histories reference
More like, gets Shadow Right
You don’t understand Sonic as a character, do you?
You can't really make an argument that Sonic is the main villian, because I feel villiany requires malice, or at least intent, neither of which Sonic had.
The rest of your points were really good though.
W edit but Sonic's character is completely messed up in Sonic prime, showing him as some immature, jerkish and unintelligent dude. Actually Sonic can control as much energy as he likes unlike the others, Sonic Prime just did this to him
In summary: Sonic has ADHD and Prime finally acknowledged that
More like Prime GAVE him ADHD
It really didn't.
Great for 5 eps new yoke was getting tired of watching but the pirate episodes are epic with delight! Also loved it!
I feel like you deserve at least 1Mil subs rn
Awww thanks! Glad you enjoyed the video!
Since Sonic Prime is canon, it fucks up Sonic's character. He doesn't change, but he helps others change. He changes the world around him. Since the current game Sonic is mature, Sonic's flaws and immaturity don't make any sense at all. Sonic Prime ruins Sonic. It's a good show, but his portrayal is an insult to who Sonic is meant to be.
but sonic prime take place before sonic frontiers
@@emanuelsantos5687 even though it was stated to be towards the end of the Sonic timeline?
@@comedicidiot what did you mean about that?
@@emanuelsantos5687 it is an official statement by the people who work on Sonic Prime that Sonic Prime takes place near the end of the Sonic timeline, meaning it takes place after Sonic Frontiers.

Yeah no, sonic prime sonic doesn't understand sonic at all. He has an ego yes, but they make him a MORON. It is a basic definition of flanderization. If you want peak sonic, I suggest you pick up a comic or a couple hundred
Exactly.
I like Sonic's character on Sonic Prime but i don't see that this is Sonic's best portrayal, imo, His best portrayal are SA1, SA2, Unleashed, Frontiers (kind of debatable), Sonic OVA and (even tho it's just one minute long) Sonic CD in the animated cutscenes
They did not get Sonic right in this show💀 they made him a complete idiot
I like Sonic in the show, I just wish they didn't have to make him stupid.
He's not stupid. He's just not perfect being flawed does not mean being stupid
Gotta be honest, I don't like him. Sonic is my favorite character ever but I just can't see him as the same Sonic I know, the same Sonic I grew up with. If this was an alternative universe or something well Ok. But it's the same Sonic from the games
Possibly the most accurate depiction of Sonic, i love it 💕
I stopped watching after you said "Looking at you sonic 06" It's not 2009 anymore
I personally just don't like the voices. The writing of the series is pretty good.
I think the sonic prime series was a good show and a good protayal of sonic as while he is a hero but he’s not perfect and have you confront his faults and try to learn from them.
Idk i like prime sonic but i honestly prefer a more mature sonic like the ones from black knight, unleashed or frontiers, which know when to take the situation seriously and stop cracking jokes and stuff.
The jokes are fine just because he reminds me back in the 90's with jaleel white and compare to the sonic movies as possible which is different than I expected from sonic
not EVERYTHING is a joke
Wait season 3 isn't happening NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Personally I feel like this immature take on sonic while grating will trend into character development really good to see I really adore his more kind hearted moments with tales he gives off this he is flawed but he has a heart and you can work through those flaws and I like the fact he is humble enough to always consider his friends in the fact that he really needs them
sonic Prime is the The best move
🤩 got go fast
I pity Sonic, since he is only 15 (I think) and he's very immature, very childlike. Like in the movies.
The only that i didn't like is that he talk too much during the action scenes.
It kinda took away from me but i can understand it may be intentional.
This is my favorite version of sonic I do not want him to be this perfect hero who could do nothing wrong his character was like that in Sonic X and it's kind of boring
You clearly don't understand Sonic.

I really thought pepol would absolutely dunk on the seried since its just a bit off in my opinion
I say the Sonic from Sonic Underground is both the best (being born a royal) and worst (being a bigger asshole than SatAM Sonic).
No
I'd forgive them making Sonic a childish idiot if this was kept as its own separate thing, but they confirmed this series was canon to the games, which makes the show so much worse and it honestly makes no sense. They basically gave Sonic in Prime the DBS Goku treatment.
God no
@@thatguy-js9gv he's right. The difference between Z Goku and Super Goku is so bizarre but take a look at Sonic X Sonic (Japanese) and Prime Sonic. Its literally a repeat here lmao
This isn’t the same sonic lol the contradictions prove that
yea i like the sonic in sonic prime but sonic is severely nerfed i seen sonic in sonic frontiers handle more harder hits then the sonic in sonic prime
Most people right now hate Sonic's character because this show is supposed to be cannon, but people think that this isn't the same Sonic from the games, and I completely disagree. Remember from Sonic Generations in the first cutscene with Modern Sonic, he is more concerned about him losing his chili dog that he is about what his friends are terrified of at first. What this show does differently from the games is it puts emphasis on the times Sonic is unempathetic towards his friends, because, like Sonic Frontiers was meant to fix the characters flaws, Sonic Prime is meant to fix Sonic's character flaws.
Generations is a horrible game to take on Sonic's personality
Okay Black knight, Watch X, Play Adventures 1 and 2 and you'll see how sonic truly is like, hell even the classic games
It’s not too many contradictions
