ruclips.net/video/z8dVo9eoXxs/видео.html this video give a really in depth explanation of the op, I really recommend watching it
@@milorios3994 thats a rickroll, isnt it
@@realperson9951 so is it a rickroll?
I remember how this anime beat the record of how fast an anime episode can make me cry. When episode 11 came out, I watched it and noticed that Taroumaru was gone from the opening. Tears had already been running down my cheeks by the time the opening ended. That's even faster than Clannad After Story.
+Aska2468 Really? After Story made me cry while the episode loaded lol.
ep 12 made me cry... twice
I don't think that's the episode as much as your internet
The manga made me cry way more then the anime did
the first episode made me cry when I found out it was all in her head
Sakura"s zombie creeped me the fuck out when I saw it with the cheerful ass music
+Reggie Torian ik, just the way they show all the classmates, Kei, best dog and Sakurai meeting horribly sad fates but keep on with the J-pop trips me up.
I finished it about ten minutes ago and I am still crying.
Because of megu nee death
a whole 7 years later and same here, i just finished it 45 min ago and damn this gotta be the saddest anime i’ve seen yet, i was begging for kuromi to not turn into a zombie lmao
0:59 ; _ ;
Double "Right in the kokoro"
Right!?
The fact that the song name is a double entendre and actually translates to something like “friends’ corpses” is killing me
hm?
The manga is better but this anime needs a season 2
I love how they just made subtle changes to the OP than changing it entirely. The series was also messed up, I love it >///
That puddle Yuki jumped from at the end is pretty much a pool of blood at eps 11
This really shows how yuuki goes into finally realizing whats happening around her just makes the opening scarier
i kinda find it interessting how many changes coincide with masune being confirmed dead after episode6 even tho the most unsetteling tonechanges being from 1 to 2 and 9 to 10.shows how important she actually is to the groop and it actively gives an example of how the outbreak ruined everything
The little things like the openings changing fucked with me so much. I loved it!
Wow i though i was going crazy and just seeing things in the openings but holy shit they actually change each episode :s
Tarou missing from the intro broke my heart into a million pieces. even now when i just saw it I wanted to cry ;~;

Yuki is the prime exemple on how moe can ruin your mind, even in a zombie apocalypse...
...in the last five episodes the wipe of flowers and hearts n stuff after the shot of the whole building turns into a bunch of grabbing cartoon zombie arms °_°
One of the best and most fucked up anime. 10/10 Would be an emotionless bastard again. 9001/9000 would love second season.
+Rob G. It must be nice not crying :S
My sister lied that Taroumaru was going to die and she said "he is not going to die" 15 hours later.me: I'm crying
I love how subtle the show is; it makes the impact so hard.
Dang .-. I didnt even notice that subtle change in each one when I watched through the series. But looking back to this, it does make sense for each change. ;~; so sad.
The fact that Taroumaru was shambling across the screen in the 10th episode intro had me sobbing before the episode even started.
Ok good, I wasn't going crazy XD
Not me bursting out into tears when I saw that Taromarou was missing.
Bruh seeing those final episode endings really hurt my soul
gotta love copyright
So many years have passed since I watch this piece of art....and I can't stand the fact that it never got a sequel.
It had soo much potential.
megu neee!
this gotta be the saddest and mist psychological anime i’ve ever seen, i found it because i searched “anime music” on spotify and then heard this song, was listening to it while playing games for a few weeks and then looked at the album cover and was like “ah so it must be a from a cute slice of life anime” and being new to anime i wanted to try to watch as many different types as possible to see what is my favorite genre… well i found the show, started watching episode 1 and half way thru i noticed it said “horror” in the genre and i was extremely confused…. then it got to the last few minutes of the first episode and i was in complete and udder shock… just finished watching this about an hour ago lol
epecially set to that same cheerful music
I AM NOY OKAY
That moment when there are to many Kurumi
+Sanic Fast
Too many? Impossible. There is never enough.
your right.
Watching this anime and the op changes in real time with no context beforehand was crushing
So many people watch this but not 1 single FULL reaction video!
Isn't that copyrighted?
this is seriously creepy
TAROUMARU!!!!!!!!!!!!!
+Usagi Dahlia xD
I love how as the episodes went on,you notice small changes in the intro and I freakin love that
Samee! I really shows the care the creators put toward this show. It is amazing
At 0:59 why did Toromaru not have a leash only in episode 1?
the mainconflict of episode1 was that he ran away,so it makes sence.
I was not prepared for the emotional damage I'd suffer from this seemingly cute anime :')
and at the red opening youll notice her little cat hat thing is coverd in blood
i feel like its not school live its school LIVE like please live
I started noticing subtle changes around episode 5-6. But I don't understand the significance of the empty classroom behind Mii-kun in the first opening.
I realize how terribly late I am to this but I think it’s to show how she wasn’t “playing into” Yuki’s delusions at first. The way she would just run into random classrooms during “lessons” in the first episode. Her friends had to tell her to go along with Yuki because she was being blunt
0:57 wont stop giving me goosebumps
Bro, started watching it today at like... 12am. It's 4am rn and I'm at the last two episodes. Holy moly... This show is good. I judge it but gave it a try. I'll never judge a show again. 😂✊
One of the subtly brilliant things I don't think gets mentioned enough about 1:15 is that if you look closely, you can LITERALLY see the school as it was through Yuki. That is actually really genius.
we need more anime like school live... was so unique.
HA! YOU THOUGHT THIS WAS MOE FUNTIME BUT IT WAS I, CRIPPLING FUCKING DEPRESSION
oh man, an masterpiece anime for me, sadly no film, ova or season 2 only an live action film
this was spoiled heavily for me, but as an avid anime fan i saw nothing wrong with the series, i thoroughly enjoyed all the characters and the story as a whole, got slightly pervy towards the end but i appreciated that considering the devastation of my heart towards the end also
kurumi is best girl!
I NEVER NOTICED ANYTHING WHEN WATCHING THE ANIME
so why do the walls crack
There are a couple of theories about why everything becomes dilapidated. The first is that the zombies are easy to set off and will fly into a rampage, breaking everything, at a moment's notice (as seen when they tore the roof apart and wrecked everything in a few minutes on the final couple episodes). Even the "safe" area that most of the story happens in wasn't always safe, and most of the damage was done during the frenzy when they first turned.
The second theory is that School-Live is a story about perceptions. We know that Yuki's perception is a delusion, but that doesn't mean that the other girls' view of things are absolute reality either. Because of how hopeless their scenario seems, it's very possible that they actively perceive everything as being utterly destroyed.
My supposition is that the truth is probably somewhere between those two things, but there is no absolutely set-in-stone answer to this question as far as I've seen.
The show was a tearjerker
watching this anime in covid changed my life
I'm going to make a random geuss that that adorable dog dies
Nobel YEP
This kind of things are what tickles my balls. This is why I also love JoJo, 'opening changes' just activates something in my ape brain. It enhances the experience not just a little, but by a lot. More shows should do something like this. It doesn't have to be to this extent just change it a little according to where the plot of the story is at even just removing a character that are dead in the op feels impactful to me.
0:57 - 1:01 lol that murder slide show.
In episode 10 and 11... Taromarou isn't in the opening anymore...
oh fk i procrastinated so much and never finished this
imma cry
OMG
That episode 10 intro 😭😭
0:17 It hurts
IK im five years late ut i first saw this anime when i was like- 9 let me live lol, but i feel like when i heard the first seconds of the opening expecting it to be a rock/metal type song then a few seconds later like " Oh Nvm this is fine, cute! :D" that should've been the first sign
Notice how the background slowly get increasingly more fucked up
At first I thought the multiple screens was for copyright... but now I see
Im really happy that someone actually made this video
i think i just spoiled it for myself and if the dog dies i am going to Cry
From 0:09 to 0:21 sounds like pearl jam - last kiss
11Op:bloody water
Hi can i use this for a video i'm making? I'll credit ya of course.
Absolutely, go right ahead.
Yay someone actually asks to use content from another creator.
So many years since I've watched it I can't stand the fact that it never got a sequel.
It had soo much potential.
Unfortunately, they changed somethings so to make it a closed ending and not go with the manga. The manga continues after they leave the school, but the anime made it so they can't follow the manga.
I don't really remember what was changed since it's been a few years, but I remember being extremely confused when I started the manga from where the anime left and had to go back a few chapters.
@@julianagegenheimer Though in the post-credits they do give a nod to the manga by having Touko find their letter instead of the Hazmat guys.
THE DOG DIES NOOOOOOO
I immediately stopped watching this the second I found out it was about a zombie apocalypse.
A shame, it was a pretty great series.
+The Shaboodle really it's just a zombie outbreak... does that justify another try?
AztecsPasture I refuse to go through the heartbreak of seeing everyone die
The Shaboodle Wise choice. I don't mean to sound like a little bitch, but that show broke my soul.
***** *cries*
Taroumaru :(
Wait, how many episodes does this anime have?
Twelve, but the last episode lacks an opening.
+Grex ahh, ok then.. I just wanted to know since I haven't watched it quite yet
BECAUSE THE LAST EPISODE IS TOO EPIC FOR AN OPENING
0:21
nigga they changed the op screen i didnt even realized that
