Would it be possible to hear a few maritime disaster stories as well? There’s plenty of tragic tales at sea.

@Disaster Stories I love your channel! Yes, you should do some at sea! Like the huge ore carrier that cracked in the half went down with people in it in no time. It sunk to the bottom of the ocean in like a minute! It happened in the pacific. The boat was from like Britain. It was covered in Disasters at Sea or Disasters at Sea whatever it’s called (1st episode in season 1)!

Hi there, good question, I've been looking for this but couldn't find it. That's why I didn't include it in the video. Perhaps the outcome has been kept out of the media. I could only find this website, but the outcome is not mentioned here either:

2:55 - its not correct about light at all! I summited Denali solo 2014 and I descended past midnight. There was no problem seeing things - it was "darker day".
3:01 - the slope from the top to the flat area is not very steep - I remember I was tired when gong up it but I do not remember the angle to be even close to what was done from high camp up - where front pointing was common.
3:55 - I have no idea how a team of 4, with single guy falling got themselves into trouble here - either super unlucky or climbers were poorly trained in self arrest or not trained at all.
6:20 - I was there in not so windy conditions and I absolutely had to have parka on when I reached the flat area. How the guide planned to move without it down? Also how did he put this on the other guy in a way it blew off? Clearly the other climber had his own parka on - how do you put one on top of the other??? This all makes zero sense.
7:06 - what? I hate guides like that - they should just told the guide to F-off - I would. This is why I do not and do not plan to ever use guides. Also he ditched his clients!
10:23 - so how did the guy without parka do in like -30C with 100km plus wind... what a brain dead guy.
10:52 - yeah when I was there some people survived strong storm at high camp - I think it is over the top to say they worried about their own survival so soon after start of the storm. Luck of experience is showing.

The man who died, in parts of the lawsuit his family filed, as read in vid, it said among other damages, paraphrasing: “…loss of companionship, and loss of a provider and parent _to his two young children._
Definitely not worth the risk of doing if you have dependents, especially young children, imo.
