Glad you enjoyed it! I would say the larger the window the thicker to do. If acrylic, you would have to work really hard to crack it so those wee windows I did 1/8” would be fine. I used 3/16” cuz I had offcuts and that is always cheaper. Be well J
Is that a circular saw that you just did a plunge cut with? That's skill...I would likely be missing an appendage or a quart of blood if I tried that. Kudos.
Actually a pretty typical cut- glad you liked it! You can do it with drilling a hole and then jigsawing it then installing the blocks by measuring to the edge of the door, then flush trim with a router all of the excess face to leave a clean edge. Be well
Have you seen any maker videos from Jimmy Diresta? He plays around with the video speed to get through steps that take long or are repetitive. It may be something worth trying out in your how-to videos, to show everything but speed through at the pace that you narrate.
That comment is well received. I do that is some videos but not others. Mr D’s videos are really good and I do enjoy them. For me these are tools for my students. I have a different goal than other makers possibly. I do hope you also find them useful. 😀
Hi, thanks for a no BS straightforward approach to doing a job. Keep up the good work!
Thank you for the kind words

Man... RUclips and creators are amazing. This is exactly what I was looking for :) Thx dude ;)
Yay!
Nice video, thank you. Very nice shop. Looks like you have room to move which is critical
Great job on the video
What is a good thickness for the glass. High traffic doors. Good video. I was relaxed watching you. I have six doors to do. Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it!

It would be great if you showed the construction on a door of a window that can be opened
I have built a window that opens for placement in a wall, but not a door.
I did buy one of those for a set though.
Cheers

@@SceneryFarm I will be helping with set construction for our HS play. Your videos have been the most informative that I found.
@@Young_Star I am happy to be helpful. If you wish help in areas other than I have published, pls ask and I will do what I can to do so.
