Nice work 👌 I've been VJ myself for the past 8 years and never seen some explaining the whole thing so simple and thoroughly. Definitely would be reffering your video to anyone just starting and not quite sure how it all comes togerther.
means big! i also learned very much scattered, mostly reading forums and redits. then i was making, developing and trying a lecture /webinar session to introduce VJ to general people when they ask "how do u do it". recently worked on it and turned it to a video script (this one) which hopefully will cover basics for novice. pls let me know if there's any essential item i missed. thanks for your message, feeling inspired!
Hey. Really cool video. Very informative as well. We just would like to add, for the community, that doing visuals for live concerts started with Thomas Wilfred and was bring to many bands for the first time by Glenn McKay and Joshua White. These days VJing is evoling a lot, but lets not forget our origins!
Thank you, very informative! Recently purchased resolume from the black friday sale. First time really trying out vj without any backgrounds in this niche field but super keen to see where i go with this. Thank you for sharing
great question! you can start doing it as simply as vMix. you can also use Resolume, Module8, and many other VJ software to do that. i personally prefer resolume for such jobs, cz its handy and robust.
When you say generative visuals do you mean like Milk and Nestdrop? I have been using AI recently for live generation and also Stable Diffusion to make song specific audio reacticve visuals which I use when I am DJing. I mix from the CDJs alongside a midi which I have connected to my Resolume. Also been using some VR applications too
in this video, meant TouchDesigner, MadMapper, Resolume, they have handful of generative visuals themselves. TD lets u make ur own, lately Resolume got WIRE to do similar.
@@manslaughterinc.9135 great questions. if it was titled live visual performance, this could mean something broader, such as maybe live painting, maybe more experimental things that is done live and is performing art. i have seen sand art, that can also fits live visual performance in some mindset. to narrow down this video's scope/context, i have added the word digital in title. also tried to explain what does/might general people relate to them in daily lives. thanks for ur super constructive queries! tc

¡eres increíble, lo sé porque crees que es un buen contenido! ¡Un gran amor desde la tierra de los Tigres de Bengala, Bangladesh!
No love for live analog visual performance?
ultra big love for analog people, for showing rest of us the way! i haven't worked with analogs much, so its better if i hand over the mic to you!
@@ZunayedSabbirAhmed It just seemed weird that you you specified Life "Digital" Video Performance. Why include the digital at all? Seems weird.
