If PC gaming is something that's important for your needs then we'd recommend getting a device with an internal GPU. Some games can run on low graphic settings or Cloud Gaming on the Surface Pro is a great option!
Thanks for a nice and informative video summarizing the changes. The devices are very similar, indeed. However, I have to point out your saying "10 million megapixels", which sounds like an industry breaktrough as the readily available consumer sensors are topping at around 200 Mpix ;)

"slightly different chip" = chip with a completely different architecture that is incompatible with 99% of available windows software... A bit misleading
