- Shout & Scream Factory was the first boutique label that I heavily started collecting for. I loved their catalog and the special features that they were putting on their releases. Once they made the move to 4K I didn’t collect as aggressively as I once did solely because there were no new special features to be had and I already owned a lot of the movies I wanted from them on Blu-ray. But once I saw that they were having a sale that had a lot of their titles at under $20 that was a price point that I couldn’t pass up.

LOL, my wife got after me for my Shout box. They sent me a ginormous box and it was only 3 movies (Brotherhood of the Wolf, Bubba Ho-Tep, The Man in the Iron Mask) but because Bubba had a poster, they threw it in a big box. After I opened it, she was like "That's it?" Maybe I should have ordered more? 😂 Nice haul there! Favorite release from what's there: The Fog or They Live (big Carpenter fan), favorite Shout Factory release: That's super tough because then I have start looking over my anime as well and the collector's editions of My Neighbor Totoro, Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke (the huge ones with the movie, giant booklet, and cd) are just another level.
At least you will know next time you order to fill up that giant box lol.

I picked up 6 titles from the sale, Dog Soldiers, The Last Detail, Bride of Chucky, Upgrade, Clue and the Steelbook of They Live. Great haul and video.👍
and im the SAME EXACT way with slipcovers...i refuse to own a movie without the slip, if it was issued with the release...and yes there are some releases that just dont come with the movie.
I was also kinda late getting the Halloween 4K editions, when I bought them I had to order from several different retailers since some titles were out of stock. By some act of mercy all of them came with the hard boxes. Halloween 5's box has a death drip on the case though, when I first got it I needed a butter knife to help slide it out. For some reason, SF releases seem to have so many quality issues like disc recalls, the off-gassing, cover art being wrinkled, etc.
Hand down Strange Days is awesome, I remember seeing it in the theaters. I would die for it to be released on Blu Ray.
Black Christmas is such a good movie. Watched it for the first time recently, and it definitely stuck with me

your halloween 4k with water damaged is fixable...i had a few 4k's have water damage to the artwork and i contemplated buying the movie all over again but i didnt wanna buy the movie for 40 dollars because of wrinkled artwork....take the art out and put it on an iorning board put a towel over the artwork and iorn over at low heat at first with steam...it flattened it perfect for me.
I'd request an exchange
