Do you have parents at your youth baseball games who are just completely out of control?
They don't know how to control their emotions in the stands, they yell at the umpires and the other team, and they always raise the stress level throughout the entire game?
Unfortunately, this is an all too common problem in youth sports - and as a coach, handling the situation of an unruly parent is one of the hardest things to do.
It's difficult, and frankly awkward, to approach another adult and tell them their behavior is unacceptable, like you would tell one of your players.
But in today's bullpen bulletin, I'm giving you 3 simple steps you can implement for your parents that will help you easily handle a situation where a parent gets too intense at a game.
    3 Steps:
    1) Set expectations before the season starts
    2) Keep top of mind, always
    3) 2 strikes, you're out

I coached football and the parents were the WORST part of it. I tell my nephews ONLY listen to your coach. Ignore everybody else. All the other stuff is just noise. So, that’s what they do.
